Surrounded by parks, restaurants, shops,... Great location! It is walking distance to the beach, El Born, Sagrada Familia, Las Ramblas, and just 2 minutes away from the closest metro station. The flat is located in the Sant Martí district, a quiet and well-connected residential area of Barcelona. The location is convenient for those looking for accommodation close to the city centre without being in the tourist hustle and bustle. As for the history of the area, Joan d'Austria was the nephew of Charles V and one of the main generals of Philip II. In 1571, he led the Spanish fleet to victory over the Turks at the Battle of Lepanto. The street named after him was built in the 1970s as part of the urban renewal of the area. Nearby tourist attractions include the Agbar Tower, an impressive glass and steel structure designed by Jean Nouvel, and the Sagrada Familia, Antoni Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece. There are also several museums nearby, including the Design Museum and the Museum of the History of Catalonia. For those looking to enjoy the local gastronomy, we recommend visiting some of the typical restaurants in the area, such as Casa Paloma, specialising in Mediterranean food and tapas, or La Mar Salada, known for its contemporary Catalan cuisine. In terms of transport, there are several options nearby. The nearest metro stop is Marina (L1), a 10-minute walk from the flat, and there are several bus lines that pass through the area, such as lines 6 and 40\. It is also possible to take a taxi or use ridesharing apps such as Uber or Cabify. The apartment is your own. The apartment is on the neighbourhood of "Poblenou", between "Marina" station (L1) and "Bogatell" station (L4). The apartment is very comfortable and decorated with a modern touch. Located in a quiet area of the city. It has two bedrooms, both with double beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, and a bathroom with shower. It has AC in all the rooms of the house, wi-fi, TV and washing machine.
