Some of the problems were addressed immediately, others not so much. The owner has gotten back to me and indicated the property is being taken off the market while upkeep in being addressed. The apartment looks just like it does in the pictures, super clean, bright and cosy, felt like home. The apartment is in a fantastic location, literally 2 minutes walk from La Rambla, the centre. The metro station is also very close so it is not hard to get around. There are plenty of shops and cafes surrounding the apartment and also a large market, as well as the ones set up on La Rambla. You are also able to walk to the beach from the apartment and to the Cathedral. The amenities in the apartment where perfect . We had all the utensils need to cook our own food and clean up. Easy walking around El Raval, Gothic Quarter, and the harbor. About 30 Euro to/from the BCN airport. Taxi's and metro are available a few blocks away on La Rambla. We had a two families with 4 children (ages 7-20) and 4 adults, and everyone had sufficient space. There were 4 comfortable bedrooms. The apartment was spotless which made us feel right at home. And the location greatly facilitated our adventures and sight-seeing, as well as leisure time. We were able to walk to several tourist sites, hang out at the nearby park (less than a block away), visit open air markets and local grocery stores, and jump on the metro for a quick ride to other amazing sites.
