Great experience, beautiful property
The apartment was in a great neighborhood; everything was easy to access from it without being too close to all the tourist chaos. We felt safe walking around at all times of day with our 5 year old, and the neighbors were very friendly. The apartment itself was exactly as advertised- All appliances worked well, and we felt very comfortable. The tile floors, stained glass and unique features in the apartment were even more beautiful in person. Would absolutely stay here again. Helped make our experience in Barcelona one to remember

Wonderful place to stay!! The location was great. Thank you so much for accommodating us to get in early. We were on a cruise and we were hard to get a hold of. We showed up on the doorstep with all of our suitcases. I know the caretaker went out of her way to accommodate us. Just a very nice experience

Lovely apartment in a great area
We had a fantastic stay at the apartment. There are lots of beautiful original features throughout and the apartment was spotless. The neighbourhood is ideal, with lots of good bars and restaurants, and it is a walk or couple of metro stops to the centre/ Las Ramblas etc. A great listing and we would recommend to others.

Best of the best
We stayed here for a week during high season, first week of August. Ideal location, a 15 minute walk from everything anyone would want in Barcelona. Fantastic but quiet neighborhood, great coffee shops, gelato, restaurants. Hosts made the chicken process seamless and the one time during our stay that we called for something, they responded immediately. The place had everything we needed - plenty of room, impeccably clean, terrific air conditioning, and great tips and tricks for navigating Barcelona. Should we ever return to Barcelona, this will be the only place I would consider.

Amazing apartment. Owners thought of everything
Absolutely gorgeous apartment in 100 year old building. Owners have lovingly restored and modernized while keeping the charm of the apartment. The original tile floors were stunning. The original windows and woodwork and ceilings were gorgeous. Kitchen and bathrooms all remodeled with modern fixtures seamlessly integrating with the old. Beautiful - I am inspired. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room four our family of 5 adults. Hosts were excellent communicators. Offered restaurant and transportation recommendations. We tried several of their restaurant recommendations and they were excellent. We could not have chosen a better place to stay in Barcelona. I would highly recommend to all travelers.

A Perfect Stay in Barcelona
This was an amazing flat in Barcelona’s Eixample neighborhood! We loved being just a few walking blocks away from everything in this lovely city and staying in a beautiful older building. The apartment was exactly as described and communication was perfect. I loved having a small balcony to enjoy my morning coffee or a glass of wine in the afternoon while Barcelona bustled below us. Yes, the traffic noise was a bit loud in the living room and dining room during rush hours but once you got to the back of the apartment in the bedrooms, it was nice and quiet. The white noise machines in every bedroom were also very much appreciated. I am such a light sleeper and they really helped! We loved having two Metro stations close by - Provença and Hospital - and used the Metro extensively visiting many of Gaudi’s masterpieces. We loved the Italian restaurant Romane just downstairs and tried a few other restaurants. For gelato we highly recommend Anita Gelato in Barcelona’s Gracia neighborhood. Yummm! I would highly recommend this beautiful apartment for your stay in Barcelona! Thank you for a visit with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime!

Beautiful Apartment
Perfect location & amenities for your ideal Barcelona Vacation. Our family of 5 enjoyed very much our stay here. We walk everywhere, there are a lots. of restaurants all around. The train station is a few blocks away. The apartment is very well equipped, kitchen had everything needed. Laundry machine very convenient, we loved the decor that made us feel in a true Barcelona building. Dave is a great host and reply to our questions right away. Check in and out was easy. We would loved to come back next time we visit Barcelona. Thank you for having us!!!

Fantastic vacation
The description of the property was right on. The location was great. Short distance to sights, places to eat, supermarket, etc. Taxis were easy to get when needed. The apartment was great. In a beautiful older building but the apartment had great modern conveniences. Bathrooms and kitchen were modern and everything worked well. It was perfect for our family vacation.

Would love to book again in the future. The apartment is lovely, clean and well appointed. Everything is as described, the location really is unbeatable, with all one might need just steps away, including excellent restaurants, shops, and public transportation, in an upscale and historic location but removed just enough from the crowds. The mattresses were very comfortable and there was no noise from the street nor other parts of the building. Bed linens and towels plentiful and fresh. Bathrooms nicely updated - a very welcome advantage over so many other vacation rentals. All other standard necessities thoughtfully provided. Tastefully decorated and furnished, with inspiring architectural elements and stunning antique tile floors. Fast internet service. Jazmina was very welcoming and always willing to help. Finally, communication with the host was a pleasure - he replied promptly to our inquiries, was kind, and friendly. Highly recommended.

The apartment is clean, in a nice, quiet part of L'Eixample, and as pictured/described. Very easy access to public transportation to get around the city, but also within walking distance to a lot of city sites and great restaurants. Communication with both the property owner and manager was easy and seamless. Would definitely stay here again!

Great family stay in Barcelona
The property was great for us to stay as a family and have a more local experience in Barcelona. It was very clean and nice to have three bedrooms as well as a kitchen and place to do laundry. The split units AC worked very well to cool each bedroom in minutes at the end of the day for sleeping comfortably despite august heat. The property manager was extremely kind and responsive to our needs!

Wonderful location
The location and place were overall wonderful. Close to many sites and restaurants. The apartment was clean and described accurately. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet to sleep. Our only issue was check in. We had to pay extra to check in less than 30 minutes early and could only pay by cash. However, I would be happy to stay here again.

Check-in is at 4PM. We sometimes can check people in early, when we bring someone other than the property manager over and charge a fee for this. We would never charge for half and hour early, so we really do not understand that.

Awesome Property
This was one of the best VRBO stays we have ever had. The property is located about a mile away from most of our tourist destinations, close enough to walk or take the train, but far enough away that it had its own vibe with mostly locals around. We had two college age boys, each with their own rooms which made for a much more pleasurable trip than going the hotel route. With restaurants and shops located just steps away, you never need to leave the area if you are looking for a relaxing day. The layout works for an intown stay and provided plenty of privacy. The owners and property manager are very helpful and respectful of our needs without being nosey. I would strongly suggest this location to anyone looking for more than a single bedroom who wants to be close enough but not in the middle of the tourist areas.

Beautiful place for a family
We really enjoyed the apartment-very spacious and good location. We felt like we were living like the local people do. Loved the restaurant La Romane just below the apartment and groceries, several bakeries, and a butcher shop are all close by. Unfortunately there were people singing and talking, and loud music playing until about 3:00 a.m. for three of our 5 nights. Perhaps that’s typical of Barcelona life!

Wonderful apartment in the center of Barcelona
This is a stylish apartment in the center of Barcelona, but thankfully not in the craziness of La Rambla. The kitchen was well equipped, as was the rest of the property. The owner and apartment manager were very helpful and accommodating, and we had a wonderful week exploring Barcelona from here.

Great accessible apartment in the heart of the city, amazing location and amenities.
Had a great experience staying here, checking was really easy as Jasmine was great at communicating everything before we arrived. The apartment is close to the metro and there is a bus stop right downstairs, as well as taxis passing by all day/night. There is an elevator in the building and the apartment is very spacious with modern amenities. Lots of sunlight and fresh air in the living room, gorgeous floors, and a well-stocked kitchen if you want to hit the local market and do some gourmet cooking at home. Strong wifi for getting some work done on the go and a good smart TV for kicking back at night. Would definitely recommend this place.

Perfect in so many ways!
The property is located in a very nice area. There is plenty going on and lots of nearby restaurants, cafes, shopping, bakeries, etc., and it's also quiet enough at night to sleep well in order to be ready for your next days' adventure! The property is well laid out, with two of the three bedrooms at the back of the apartment. The kitchen is up-to-date with good appliances, as well as being very well stocked with basics needed by travelers, such as, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, basic spices and some others, as well, coffee, tea, terrific cooking utensils and pots/pans, etc. There was also wi-fi, guidebooks, and laundry in the apartment. Top notch! Jazmine was the on-sight person who helped s and she was terrific!! She was kind, helpful, responsive, and a joy to talk with. If you stay here, you will have a wonderful time in the city, as well as in the apartment when you get "home" after a busy day! Five stars for sure!

Super thoughtful space in the middle of a wonderful city.
We have stayed at many short term rentals before. I’m hard pressed to tell you of any that have as many thoughtful touches as this property. Just about anything you could look for was located here. From board games to Bluetooth speakers. All of the basics you would expect to find and some additional touches like a bottle of wine welcomed us. Additionally, Jazmine was able to meet us a little earlier than normal check in time. This was very helpful as we had woke up around 3 in the morning and everyone was exhausted. All in all, highly recommended. One last note - there are so many options for food around the neighborhood. Make sure you check out La Patsa Lab one block away.

This historic property is in a great location to explore all of Barcelona. Located in what TimeOut has identified as the best neighborhood in Barcelona, it’s located between the beaches in Barceloneta and Gracia. Grab a cappuccino at Roast Coffee Club, pick up organic fruit or a selection of cheese and crackers at Ametller Origen, or enjoy many of the excellent restaurants within walking distance. Great place to stay!

New Years in Madrid!
We had a wonderful time staying in your Madrid VRBO apt. Great location in the thick of things and comfortable 3 bedroom set-up for our family of 6 adults. If you are looking for a kitchen to use for meal preps etc. this one does not offer much but if you are looking to take advantage of the many many choices to get a snack, lite meal, or night out with amazing food then you will be happy! 3 bedrooms, 3 generations...perfecto!
We would stay at this apartment again in a heartbeat. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms made this trip luxurious. The kitchen amenities and washer/dryer were very convenient. And just in the neighborhood we had access to everything from a full service grocery store to restaurants, bakeries and wine tasting. Can’t wait to go back again!

Spectacular Barcelona apartment
This was a great experience. We were two families of four. We knew we were stretching the capacity of the apartment. We communicated this to the owner and they set it up for us perfectly - converting the extra dining room into a small bedroom with a decent air mattress for two kids (no complaints). We arrived from the U.S. mid day. The property manager Jazmine could not have been nicer or more professional. She offered to hold our bags until check-in at 4 p.m. She met us at the apartment right on time and directed us to a nearby cafe to eat something. The location was perfect for exploring the city. Far enough from the tourist zones that the many good restaurants were uncrowded, and reasonably priced but close enough to get everywhere and to feel that we were really still in the heart of Barcelona. This is a fantastic neighborhood for first time visitors. Safe, clean, quiet and cool. Finally, the apartment itself was precisely as advertised. Beautiful mosaics and tasteful art/furnishings. Working A/C. Balconies. Very nice beds. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. (My only suggestion for improvement is to install a "real" American shower. Though maybe the plumbing makes it cost-prohibitive in a beautiful old building.) Thank you for sharing such a great apartment with us! We will be back!

Our adult family of 6 stayed 4 nights in this apartment. We really enjoyed the apartment. It had everything we needed, was very clean, and was in a good location for us. We loved the old tile work in the apartment and the building itself. The pictures are accurate. Two of the bedrooms were a little tight, but comfortable. There is a taxi stand just across the street at the street corner, which made it easy if we ever wanted to go anywhere. There a several places to eat nearby and we ended up using the Lidl grocery store a few blocks away with a good selection and prices (there are some smaller closer ones if desired). We walked about 15-20 minutes and to the Plaza Catalunya and used the hop-on-hop-off bus to get familiar with Barcelona, then went back to the places we were interested. Nice place and we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect home base to explore Barcelona!
We had 4 adults and 2 teens and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own private space and lovely areas where we could all be together. We were there a total of 9 nights and every day we were happier with the location -- central enough to have loads of restaurants/shops/markets/pharmacias within a few blocks and easy to walk or pop in a quick cab ride a little further afield. We would recommend this property wholeheartedly! The master bedroom is really fantastic with loads of storage space, the other 2 bedrooms are quite small, but there is space to spread out your things outside of those rooms, or utilize one of the chests in the master. Beds comfortable, plenty of linens, bathrooms and kitchen clean and well-stocked with basics. Check-in and out super easy and communication great. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this location. It was as advertised and any trouble that we had was taken care of right away. If I would change anything it would be a little more confortable sitting in the living room for all 6 of us and the beds were a little hard. We were left plenty of informaton and everything worked.

We thank you for rating us 5 stars and appreciate receiving feedback. We do respectfully disagree that the beds are hard, although a general impression exists that beds in Europe are harder than the US. We have gotten the exact opposite comment many times, and this is obviously personal preference. But I split time between NYC and Barcelona, and find them just as comfortable in Barcelona as New York. After a long day of touring the city, we understand any bed may not feel the same for sore bones and muscles. But we invested in expensive premium mattresses and bed linens, and appreciate them.

Loved the apartment, central position in the Eixample quarter with the gothic quarter and La Ramblas within walking distance and a tube station close by. Very nice rooms with tasteful interior and very beautiful Spanish tiles, the living room spacious and light with two little balconies. Only two of the rooms had a little noise from a bar below.

Fabulous apartment in an amazing location!
My mother and I took my two children (8 and 5) to Barcelona for a week vacation. This apartment was the perfect place to call home during our stay. Despite major delays flying into Barcelona, Graciela met us at the apartment when we arrived and welcomed us with open arms. There was some issue with the Wi-Fi when we arrived, but she took care of getting it fixed within 24 hours. The apartment itself is really well located, just a short walk from all the major sites and within a short walk to some great restaurants - and a Lego store! The apartment was well appointed and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked and there are several grocery stores within a short walk. The beds were incredibly comfortable and after a long trip there we all slept extremely well during the entire trip. Graciela checked in on us several times during our stay and took really good care of us. I would highly recommend staying here!

An absolute gem in the heart of Barcelona
My wife and three kids (ages 11, 13, and 15) spent five nights at this spectacular apartment in Barcelona at the end of June. It is located on a quiet, tree-lined street in an upscale residential neighborhood. It is walking distance to all the sights (10 - 20 min.), and a Metro station is nearby (5 - 10 min). The apartment has beautiful original detail and mosaic tile, yet has modern (but small) kitchen and bathrooms (only one full bath, though). A really small building elevator is good for transporting luggage. David, Lisbeth, and Graciela made the process of booking, checking, and checking out incredibly easy and were gracious throughout. When we unexpectedly arrived late at night due to flight delays, Graciela met us at the apartment and gave us a warm and thorough introduction to the apartment and the city. We enjoyed everything about our stay, would do it again, and highly recommend it!

Amazing experience
My family and I stayed at Mr Silver's place for 5 nights this summer. Everything was incredibly clean, spacious and comfortable for 6 adults and a 1 year old. Graciela and team were incredibly responsive and accessible throughout our stay. Location: The apartment is centrally located with plenty of stuff to do within walking distance. Plenty of cabs were available at the corner if we weren't up for walking. The street is quiet at night and feels safe. We enjoyed a lot of the nearby restaurants and bars which were recommended in their extensive welcome guide. Extras: Knowing we had a small child with us, they helped us rent a crib and put some baby supplies in the apartment which helped make our stay comfortable.
