The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to this modern and bright 4 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms flat, located at the heart of Barcelona's City Center, perfect for those traveling with children or friends. The neighbourhood is safe and family-friendly. It's strategically located with a lot of public transportation options including a subway stop one block away and several buses lines on your doorstep.  
  
The Space:  
My modern and centry-located duplex apartment with 4 rooms and 140 m2 in the heart of Barcelona, next to Plaza Cataluña on the corner of Paseo de Gracia. A few steps from you will have everything you may need as well as the main attractions of the city.  
  
We manage other apartments in the same building, ideal for business groups and big families!

\- Step free access into the building, but please note you will need to take the stairs to some of the bedrooms

The Neighborhood:  
Dreta de l'Eixample is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It includes Plaça de Catalunya, the centre of the city, and the upscale streets Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. It is the bourgeois neighborhood of the city, which makes the majority of its population belong to the upper class of Barcelona. Dreta de L'Eixample is one of the most luxurious neighborhoods of Barcelona.  
  
Getting Around:  
The closest metro station is Plaça Urquinaona (Lines 1 & 4).  
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€  
  
Other Things to Note:  
\*\*\* TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS \*\*\*  
  
\- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small fee of 6.25€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.  
  
\- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.  
  
\- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation  
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.  
  
\*\*\* CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT \*\*\*  
  
Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs  
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)  
  
\*\*\* HOUSE RULES \*\*\*  
  
1\. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction  
2\. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.  
3\. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).  
4\. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.  
5\. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.  
6\. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.  
7\. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.  
  
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

#### Great location

We were happy with our stay here. The location was perfect. Everything was clean and we had what we needed. The hosts were easy to communicate with before and during our stay. Our only suggestion would be to add living room seating to match the size of the home. The living room was large enough for our family, but the sofa and chair weren't enough to seat us. Overall, we would recommend this home to others and would stay here again.

#### Perfect, except the height

the apartment was exactly as you would expect on the pictures. In a place in the middle of everything (perfect)! The only thing that was less for us was that the second floor was smaller in height than we expected. We stayed with 9 boys in this apartment, all of whom were actually too big for this floor (for people under 1,8m it’s fine). not the biggest problem, but still useful to know if you book this apartment

#### Issue riddled week in Barcelona

We stayed 5 days in Barcelona and the location was the only good thing I can say about this place. When we entered the apartment the main floor bathroom was filthy, floor was dirty and the cleaning people left one of our towels lying in the bidet. Needles to say no one wanted to use this towel. The second level bathroom was no better. The extra small sink was plugged and did not drain properly. The single room with a double bed had what appeared to be a blood stain on the sheets and one of the twin beds had a yellow urine stain. We immediately contacted the management group who insisted that there were no issues. It took them two days to get our issues resolved. So we thought, one day after unclogging the upstairs bathroom sink was plugged up again. I never write reviews but this property needs some serious attention. I would not recommend staying at this property regardless of the location.
