Great location minutes from the beach

Pros: Hotel buffet breakfast is excellent for 12 euro.. Some traffic noise at the front, but worth it for the sea view.
Cons: React to guest's request to fix an issue that devalues the experience
Location: Local restaurants have excellent sea food but 100 euro for 2 including wine or Sangria is about the going rate. Lots of water sport potential
Arrived earlier, were offered a non-sea view room at the back of the hotel. It overlooked a concrete wall, waited in favour of the sea view we booked. Room is ok, typical4*, shower never worked properly, reported it 3 times before giving up.

The hotel staff were very professional, kind and welcoming especially when we arrived very late as our flight was delayed 3.30 hrs. The day before Nela rang to say our room was changed but she made sure that we were given another room and free breakfast. It was a twin room which worked out well for us. The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside thing was that the rooms were too hot and couldn''t adjust the temperature. The transport links were good and the beach is right on the doorstep. I will definitely stay there again. I recommend that they sort out the heating and air conditioning. Thank you to all the staff. Good location. Convenient to travel to other parts of City and access beach. But AC was not working properly during my stay.

Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Enable room temperature to be adjusted, better beds (see above)
Reasonable sized clean room, and good shower in bathroom. Nice view from window. Good breakfast. But bedroom was far too hot - visited in January, heating was set at 25 degrees and could not be adjusted. There was no air-con available, and the cleaner shut the window both days even though I had asked for it to be left open. Too noisy to leave windows open at night. The beds were 2 singles pushed together - didn't specifically mind this, but the bed was very wobbly and felt flimsy, and all the pillows were lumpy.

Good hotel, but on the outskirts of town. We were near the Selva del Mar metro station but had to take metro, bus or cab to get to Las Ramblas and the other sites of Barcelona.

Brilliant hotel except location

Hotel is lovely. Staff were absolute helpful and kind. Rooms were nicec could of done with a double bed rather than 2 singles pushed together. Only downside was the location was abit out the way but the barcelona metros are good.

Perfect choice for us

Pros: The modern decor and friendly staff
Cons: English instructions for the Nespresso machine
Location: Across the road from the beach and close to the Diagonal Mar shopping Mall
We arrived at the hotel after our 7 day cruise. We wanted to stay in a different part of Barcelona after spending 3 nights in the Gothic quarter. This location was perfect for us to spend the day at the beach and had several restaurants within walking distance. It was a Sunday so all the shops were closed but there was a mall close by that we would have been able to walk to. I would recommend this hotel as it we loved the view and all the modern fixtures in the room. (deluxe ocean view). We left the breakfast order on our door but it was not collected during the night. However they sprang into action and had our breakfast sent up promptly.
