The apartment is located next to Las Ramblas and Liceu theater. The Space: Welcome to this 140 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to Las Ramblas and the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya. Barcelona’s historic Old Town is an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city. We are managers of other apartments in the building, really convenient for big families, groups of friends or business trips. Please note all apartments are almost identical, on layout, equipment and characteristics, but there might be some small changes on decoration. Getting Around: \- The apartment is located 5 minutes away from Liceu metro station (L3) by Las Ramblas. \- The easiest way to get from/to the airport is taking the Aerobus at Plaza Catalunya, this costs around 4,50 EUR per person. Other Things to Note: \*\*\* TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS \*\*\* \- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small fee of 6.25€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation. \- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. Nous étions 6 adultes et deux enfants de 2 et 4 ans, l'appartement est largement assez grand pour tout le monde avec ses 4 chambres indépendantes, son immense couloir qui peut servir de salle de jeu pour les petits . Aucune interaction humaine, tout ce fait par email et en anglais. Nous avons reçu un lien vers une application pour déverrouiller la porte de l'immeuble et celle de l'appartement, tout a bien fonctionné mais il faut avoir confiance dans la technologie! Nous avons était surpris du montant très élevé des taxes de séjour (de l'ordre de 7 euros par personne et par jour) qui n'était pas annoncé. Les seuls désagrément réels sont 1) l'odeur persistante de remonté d'égout en provenance de l'une des salles d'eau heureusement loin de la cuisine 2) le manque d'équipement : matériel de cuisine minimaliste et absence de moyen pour faire sécher le linge (ni sèche linge, ni étendage) ##### besson O. We left in less than 24 hours after arriving. Dirty floors in the bedrooms, moldy ceilings in the shower, awful mattresses. Great location in adorable building — seems tempting! Please keep looking. Management company was totally unhelpful when unable to find extra linens for sofa bed and when dryer was broken. Never had such a bad experience in my many years of international travel.
