Silverpoint Hotel. Still Good but Used to be GREAT

Ok I'm a long standing patron of The Silverpoint hotel. So I have a lot of years to compre it to. The staff continues to be A+, from the front reception to the restaurant staff & security. However, I'm noticing that the hotel appears to be scaling back in basic things. There were NO wash clothes, iron/ironing board, beach towels. All these things had to be asked for. Now there was a time when they were automatically in your room. Also the bar & the menu has been scaled back as well. I'm familiar enough with the island that I easily just ventured into Oistins to get authentic Bajan food. Also , sounds petty but, the outdoor canopies were occupied most days by staff painting the gorgeous dark wood white. That made it unavailable for use, but also takes away from the sophistication of the look of the outdoor grounds.
But the staff continues to be fabulous year after year and addressed my needs when I made them known.
I truly enjoy this hotel for its seclusion and hope that management brings it back up to its precious reputation as a great experience for an affordable price. I'd hate for the hotel to be closed down & sold off to management that changes such wonderful staff.
