Silverpoint Still Has My Heart

it was happy to see and experience the contined charm of Silverpoint after 3yr absence. The front desk staff, Marilene, was as pleasant and funny as ever. The upgrade to the Oceanfront studio was appreciated, especially since I was celebrating my Bday. I invited friends to join me and was happy that they experienced the same courtesy. Bar/waitstaff, Michael/Stacey, were also on POINT!!! The only issue I had was the menu. There has been a change in management and that reflected the menu choices. The food choices seem to cater to foreigners instead of having a more Bajan reflected menu it was focised towards Europeans. This also reflects in the prices. I think the hotel would be able to retain more patrons if they had a mid-priced menu. Ppl such as myself hoo on the local vans and head into town to eat, for a more authentic and cost effective option. Reminder: Oistins on Fridays is and should be your only option.
Next time I go back I'll make it a choice to get out to Sugar for clubbing. If you like lazy strippers and so/so DJs go to Rehab. Coming from the US I expected a better party atmosphere at Rehab but came home and hit my bottle LOL .
If you want a serene, yet stylish boutique hotel the Silverpoint continues to be where it's at!
