The pictures displayed on your site, is nothing at all what I experienced. Very disappointing. Only good thing is, the attendant was pleasant and accommodating.

Terrible ! Terrible ! Terrible ! This institution should be placed under strict health quarantine. The staff were rude and complacent. The rooms were in a deplorable state and terrible smelling. When asked for a refund, a dispute erupted into a heated argument causing my reinstatement at a different hotel. I would not recommend you stay here. The rooms are not what are displayed on Expedia and nothing is decent for living.

First off I booked a room wasn’t the room I got... my name wasn’t on the reservation.. charge extra. The condition of the building is terrible the pictures in person are not the picture on the internet I am sooo very very disappointed !!!

i dont understand the cost the page said one price 62.35 dollars and after they charged me by card nearly 70 pounds and i had the money to pay them there

Last minute trip
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I arrived a little late in the evening but at reception I was able to purchase some supplies e.g drinks. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and the bedroom room area was spacious. I have no complaints. In addition a supermarket and coffee shop about 5 minutes walk and it isn't far from downtown.

DON'T STAY IN THIS PLACE!!
I booked this room, and wasted the money. I couldn't stay in this place. The place looked like a house where women sold themselves. I stayed in this place for maybe 15mins. The internet wouldn't work. I needed internet for my work. That was the only reason I was in Barbados. I had to find another hotel. Thanks alot Hotels.com (A refund will be nice)

I don't recommend
I did not enjoy my stay. The "hotel" is on the street, there is no AC and all of the windows are caged and left open. I felt unsafe. It was also very noisy and approximately 15-20 minutes from the airport. The bed was also very uncomfortable. I left to spend the rest of my lay over in the airport because I simply could not stand the heat. On a positive note, it was clean and the staff was friendly.

Living where the locals live
The hotel is really central to alot of places but isn't necessarily right by anything. The area is surounded by locals and from what i saw no othrr hotels anywhere nearby. Staff is very friendly but realize this is a hotel not a resort. If your looking for a cheap place to stay and want to save even more money by taking buses everywhere (since there is the main bus stop right outside the hotel) definitly not a bad option.

We showed up to the hotel and it was locked up. No one there to let us into our rooms even though we had already been charged online.

how not to manage a hotel.
during my 9 nights stay, absolutely nothing was done. the room was not cleaned, bed linen was not changed, and I had to use the same "towel" throughout the entire period. In fact so many things were well below the minimum standard that I wanted to leave but was not sure that I would get my money back.

Horrific Vacation
When I arrived it was very late due to plane delays. The person that greeted me was wearing boxers only, no shoes, no shirt. As I entered the room, the heat was all I could feel, no AC, only a small fan. The Tv remote was missing and when I took a shower I was standing in six inches of water, the drain was clogged. Website said free Wifi, no internet access unless you stood outside the office. I would never return to the Melbourne.

short trip for friend's wedding
Pictures displayed on the website for the black rock location are actually pictures of another branch of the the Melbourne chain so when I got to the hotel it looked nothing like I expected. Needs a complete overhaul and seems to be known to locals as a place of I'll repute. It is in a relatively good location with a KFC across the street. Not a good suggestion for tourist.

It's a great cheap place if you don't mind roughing it out. Not a neighborhood to walk around in at night, but a great cheap place if your in the area. I don't mind roughing it out or being adventurous!

Nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, ABER keine anbietbare Unterkunft. In der Küche gab es keine Töpfe und Pfannen zum Kochen, der Abfluss der Spüle war verstopft. Auf dem Boden, der Toilette und dem Waschbecken waren überall Farbreste vom Streichen, zentimeterdicker Staub am Fenster und auf dem Boden. Insgesamt sehr unsauber. Sporadisch und ungemütlich eingerichtet. Es wurden uns ernsthaft zerissene Handtücher aufs Bett gelegt, für 90US$/Tag. Sehr laut an der Strasse gelegen. Da hat auch die überaus freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin nicht geholfen. Wir sind vorzeitig abgereist. Das Geld war uns dann egal.
