The coziness of the camper was very much like the one my parents had for our vacations. Most everything was typical of a maintained camper - gas stove with an electric option, windows, toilet, shower, refrigerator, with a modern plus of a microwave. Being next to Lake Superior/L'Anse Bay was a big plus. Owners were a phone call away if needed (I did call for info and they were answered immediately). The only drawback was that fact that US-41 was nearby - but easily ignored after a few hours. A few bugs BUT(!!) you're in the UP in summer - get over it! Down side no stove, coffee maker uses those flat pods like in a hotel and I didn’t have those so no coffee to start the day. No dish soap to wash dishes, so had to go buy some and a sponge with a dispenser for the soap so the next person can have it, you’re welcome. So many spiders inside the trailer, I am an outdoorsy person but there were a lot. If you can get past that you will like it, if not this is not a place for you. It is an old trailer don’t have high expectations it is very basic. Plus it has internet so that is a bonus. Over all not horrible. ##### Pattie G. Overall a good stay for an untweaked rustic.Bathroom and kitchen very clean. Floors and screens could have been cleaner. We enjoyed our stay and host got back to us when we had questions. Seems like we were the first renters. We did have to contact the host due to hot water issues. She did respond in a timely manner but was unsuccessful in resolving the problem. She did offer alternative solutions that we were very satisfied with. We would suggest an instruction sheet on how to light the stove and turn on water heater and heat/air conditioning. Beautiful view of the bay. The sunrises are spectacular! It is very close to the highway, but we were out and about exploring the area so it wasn’t an issue as we were exhausted when we came back to the camper. ##### Laura M. You'd be better off in an outhouse Flies, flies and more flies. Dead flies, living flies, and half dead flies. If you love flies this is the place for you. You can't even find more flies in the stinkiest outhouse in the U.P. It also had a lovely display of cob webs, and fly fece brown spots all over . The oven comes with a complimentary milk lid ring and trash and more dead flies under the burners. Needless to say, we did not end up staying at the rental. We left right after we did a walk thru. The property manager would not and will not respond to us or VRBO representatives. So small claims court may be in our future. We have plenty of pics and video! ##### Michael V. However, this was filthy. There were spider webs going from ceiling to the bedspread - filled with dead bugs/spiders - ON THE BED. Dead flies along windowsills over the bed, on the kitchen counter, etc. If you are renting out a camper the least you can do is do a quick clean out before guests come. Also, first step into the camper is very high off the ground. Need to have an additional step-up. The chairs pictured aren't with this camper - this one had wooden stumps around a fire pit. Baraga Lake Inn is right up the street - we had to go there instead. Host never responded to complaints and I gave 2 weeks for a response. ##### Gillie C. Like some reviews shared, yes, there is traffic noise, but the campground down the road would have the same concern and it doesn't have its own beach and you don't have to bring your own camper here, so this rental is a definite win.
