There are spectacular water views from almost every room. The home features a living room, dining room, family room, eat in kitchen, pantry, 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, and multiple porches. Decorated by interior design firm Davis Designs (www.davisdesigns.com), the home has been featured in interior publications. Live in complete comfort while being a stone’s throw from acclaimed Acadia National Park. Ride to the carriage trails from your front door or access every hiking trail within a 5 minute drive. The only sandy beach open to the public on Mount Dessert Island is within viewing distance from your front porch. It was so wonderful to spend time with everyone in this meticulously renovated home. We cooked together in the chef's kitchen. We had family dinners in the dining room, lunch on the porch. On the lazy days, we read in the library/sunroom. The bedrooms were beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable! Spending time together in your home made the wedding weekend very magical. During our 3-night stay, we walked to the beach and biked into Acadia National Park. We made the most of family meals, relaxed on the outdoor decks, and appreciated the peaceful setting. One night, the power went out in the area, and the home's generator seamlessly kicked in, which really impressed us! The kitchen is well stocked with all the kitchen necessities and the coffee/beverage areas were well equipped. Each bedroom has its bathroom. No need for air-conditioning even in August! We were located near an entrance to Acadia National Park in a beautiful neighborhood. The newly renovated 1920s home was beautiful with all the amenities one could ask for.
