We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone. There’s plenty of space, the kitchen is stocked, and you can’t beat the view. The location is great for hiking in Acadia and a short drive to bar harbor. The house feels secluded. My kids loved jumping on the rocks by the ocean. We had a wonderful time!

As others have said, decor is vintage but the house is expansive, comfortable and has everything one could want. The location just made our trip so very special. We loved sitting on the rocks and watching the tiny life in the tide pools and the seals. Such a special place.

We had the best time! The renovations to the home added a great modern touch to the best mid century modern feel of the rest of the house. We were able to walk directly to the trailhead of Beehive, sand beach, thunder hole, and so many other spots along the coast of Acadia. The views were incredible, the stars were insane at night, and everything was just as perfect as we imagined it would be. We even had 3 different cab drivers ask us for the listing because they were so impressed by the house and the location! We will be coming back and renting again!!

We had a wonderful stay at Schooners Edge! The house was spacious, comfortable and clean. We were pleasantly surprised at the bathroom renovations that we weren't expecting. The best part was the view of the ocean, access to Acadia Park and Bar Harbor in addition to the beautifully maintained yard that included lots of privacy. Check-in was seamless and the kitchen was well stocked. My family had a wonderful time!

#### Ideal setting

We really enjoyed our stay! The setting is breathtaking. We enjoyed getting to walk out on the Rocky Beach, sit by the fire and roast s’mores, enjoy being together. The house is so close to Schooner overlook and anemone cave. We could not have been more pleased with the location. As mentioned, the inside of the house is a bit dated, but it is spacious and had room for all of us to sleep. I would suggestsheets for the pullout sofa easier to locate, and possibly providing more bath towels. Although, we also said we would come back to this property again.
