Aisha (supervisor)completely wasted so much of our time on a simple change to our reservation. Front staff dont understand English well. Manager was nice. Breakfast was pretty awful quality and mostly Indonesian. Most fried in oil or too sweet. The rooms sizes are quite spacious and the bathrooms are western style with quality fittings and quite spacious also. The aircon works very well, the beds are good and the rooms have a bar fridge, TV, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a nice swimming pool with one shallower end partitioned off for children and the other for adults and lap swimming is possible (about 15m). There is a small adequate gym and towels are provided for use in the pool and gym areas.The hotel has a large restaurant and also an eating area and the food is good. If you ask really nice you can even use the pool the day you check out after 12.00\. Nice rooms. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. I just booked it for two nights to visit the Ijen Crater (which was amazing). The bed is comfortable and they have room service. Food is not that great. Staff's english skills were not always great, but we managed to communicate. There's a pool, but I didn't try it. The staff was very helpful, although they do not speak English well and the communciation was cumbersome. They unfortunately could not manage to respond on our special diet request for breakfast (sent in advance). The hotel looks nice but the room was much more smaller than it looked on the photos and the air condition was a mobile one that did not work at all.
