It was clean, very cute, and plenty of room for all of us. The only thing I wish was different is that there's not a direct walk out to the hot tub. It happened to be an absolute downpour of a weekend and we were still able to enjoy the hot tub, outdoor movie screen and there was plenty of comfortable interior space. The grilling deck and fire pit on the top deck looked awesome but we didn’t get to use. We were a short drive from the main streets of both Boone and Blowing Rock and communication with owner was responsive and easy! Parking is tight! The place was overall very clean except the master drawers were quite dusty inside. It’s a great location for access to Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Valle Crucis, and Boone. The Mill Ridge community is very nice and the chalet itself has everything you need for a wonderful autumn getaway…from the hot tub to the outdoor fire pit and all the nice extras inside the chalet.
