Our home is located in a desirable location in Seven Devils, located between Boone and Banner Elk with all paved access. At over 4,000-foot elevation, this wonderful home provides cooler summer climates and a scenic view of the North Carolina mountains. You even have views of Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline from the deck. Welcome to Sunrise Over Seven Devils!. Hot Tub, Air Condition, Pool Table, VIEWS, Paved Access (steep paved driveway), located in the community of Seven Devils, close to Hawks Nest Tubbing Resort (you can see some of the slopes from our deck), beautiful sunrise views, sleeps 10 guests max, pet friendly with management approval (see below for more info), outdoor fire pit (wood not provided), gas fireplace (seasonal) and so much more! To enhance your vacation experience, High Mountain Cabin Rentals includes Xplorie, which means free admissions and rentals everyday of your stay to some of the most popular attractions the area has to offer such as a Fun Center, Escape Games, Tubing Adventures, Mountain Tours, Zip Lining, and Amusement! Our home IS pet friendly, but there is a maximum of 2 dogs weighing less than 40 pounds, each. The pet fee is $100 per pet plus tax and must have management approval. We ask that you clean up after your pet’s “business” and properly dispose of the waste. Main Floor: The main floor offers 2 king size bedrooms with En Suite bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, spacious living room with gas fireplace (seasonal-Oct. 1-April 1), cable TV and access to the large open deck. The living room offers a gas fireplace (seasonal) for those cold winter days, a wall of windows to enjoy the mountain views. The step-saver kitchen offers dishwasher, refrigerator, electric oven, regular coffee maker and most items needed for preparing and cooking a great meal. The dining table can seat up to 8 guests with additional seating at the kitchen bar. Plus, we provide a high chair. There are 2 king size bedrooms on the main floor. The first master bedroom offers a king size bed, TV, En Suite bathroom with double sinks, step-in shower, jetted tub and 2 toilets. It also has access with a sliding glass door to the large deck. The Jr. master bedroom offers another king size bed, En Suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. There is another access from the main living area to this bathroom for the guests. You have access to the deck from this bedroom as well with beautiful mountain views to wake up to every morning! Lower Level: Enjoy spending quality time in the game room on the lower level with a full size pool table, Roku TV and lots of board games. There is additional sleeping with a queen size sleeper sofa and there is access to the lower level deck with seating. Views from each level of our home! The third bedroom is on the lower level that offers another king size bed and twin/twin bunk bed. The bedrooms offer an En Suite third bathroom with tub/shower combo. There is access from the game room to the bathroom for convenience. Outside: Take advantage of our nice fire pit with beautiful mountain views (wood not provided). The back deck offers a gas grill and dining table with chairs. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and cool summer days! Enjoy our awesome hot tub after a long day of hiking, snow tubing, skiing, shopping or just to relax and let the jets sooth your stress away. Location: Sunrise Over Seven Devils is located just a half mile from Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline. The closest hiking trails are located at Otter Falls Trail, which is about 0.8 mile away or a 2 minute drive. Grandfather Vineyard and Winery is 3.4 miles (8 minute drive). Appalachian State University is 12 miles away. Blowing Rock is a short 13.5 miles (less than 30 minutes) from our home. Grandfather Mountain is 14.2 miles (30 minutes). Sugar Mountain Ski Resort is less than 8 miles. Beech Mountain Ski Resort is 15.5 miles. Appalachian Ski Resort is 17 miles. Tweetsie Railroad and Mystery Hill is approximately 16 miles (30 minutes). I have rented numerous cabins in the mountains, and this one was one of the BEST!! The locations was amazing, and the panoramic mountain view was breathtaking. It definitely lives up to the name, Sunrise Over Seven Devils. I watched the Sunrise over the mountains every single morning. Even though it is more of a house than a cabin, it still has a strong cabin vibe. Very spacious, clean, and well stocked with everything you need for your trip. We had so much wildlife walk right in the front yard... we saw numerous deer, an owl, chipmunks, and even a bear!!! There is so much to do close by, such as Otter Falls, Grandfather Mountain, Alpine roller-coaster, so many hiking trails, Hawks Nest, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Linville Caverns, Linville Falls, and so much more.
