The condo was clean a spacious for the four of us. Close to food and the 2 ski resorts. Lillian was so helpful and answered any questions we had. She was an amazing host. The condo was 2 short blocks from downtown. You can see the town from the balcony and at night it lights up like a Christmas village. It was cute. We were in for a quick getaway to relax and we did just that. We drove up beech mountain to Fred’s Deli and we visited the Banner Elk winery. All were Amazing! We will be back. Host was welcoming, very responsive via email or text message. Very easy check-in process to access the condo. Condo was very clean, spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen with many thoughtful touches. Host had a wonderful small supply of treats (tea, Keurig K-cups, instant oatmeal, popcorn, mints) to enjoy. Beds were clean and comfortable with linens in very good shape. Wi-fi worked well with more than adequate bandwidth for a party of three using multiple laptops and tablets. Website photos are representative of the condo. Host provided a very helpful guest book of local dining options, points of interest, etc. We ate in at several restaurants in the downtown area that were excellent: good food, good value for money and very pleasant outdoor atmosphere. The place was clean. The entire check in/out process was easy. Instructions were very clear. They even had "extras" of things we forgot, which came in super handy. You could walk to town. It's up a hill, but not overwhelming... Only a few nitpicks: The pillows were not good. The towels and washcloths were not good. The fireplace didn't work.
