When we arrived it looked like a winter wonderland. Everything was great. I will say the spiral staircase was a challenge keeping my three year old grandson off of but we worked it out. We were never able to get the logs started after checking everything but we still stayed warm. It would've been cozy if they worked. We had a hiccup and I locked us out of the house with my phone inside with the code to the door, but the manager (Vacasa) was quick in helping us get back in quickly. This is a 5 star property in a prime location on Beech Mountain. Clean and easy access on arrival, this could sleep 6 but we were only 2\. 2 1/2 baths make it a bonus for multiple guests on this 3 floor property. Note to the owners: Front door weatherstripping is hanging loose, lock mortise in jamb had been split, perhaps from a forced entry by prior guest, suggest repair. Flag pole on front parking side deck was broken off on arrival, suggest repair. These are simply observations and recommendations, none of which affected our stay or use of the property. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND WILL BE BACK ON OUR NEXT TRIP TO THE BOONE/BEECH MTN AREA. AGAIN 5 STARS!!! ##### Ronald L. We are mountain bikers and have stayed in several properties on Beech Mountain. This property is spacious and the view from the living area is excellent. We really enjoyed the balcony spaces as well. There is a coffee bar in the dining area that is very cute and thoughtful. Excellent addition to the space! It is a bit dated in terms of the bathrooms, fixtures, microwave, etc. These things did not bother us or prevent us from enjoying this home. ##### Jennifer A. And would have liked explicit instructions about how to use the two remotes for tv. Never got the tv to work in the bedroom. Key storage box would not work also. Luckily when I arrived to check in , the cleaning people just handed me the key. No area to walk a dog available. ##### George A.
