The Space: Nestled at 4,570 feet, this Sugar Mountain condo is your cozy retreat for ski trips, hiking, or relaxing getaways. The end-unit layout offers extra privacy and peaceful mountain views. The neighborhood is quiet and surrounded by nature, making it ideal for peaceful getaways or family vacations year-round. Getting Around: A car is recommended to explore the area comfortably. The condo is just 2 miles from the nearest restaurants and groceries and 3 miles from Sugar Mountain Resort. In winter, a 4WD vehicle is recommended due to mountain roads. Parking is available directly outside the condo. Boone, Beech Mountain, and Grandfather Mountain are all within a 10–20 minute drive. Other Things to Note: Please note this is a first-floor condo with another unit above. In winter, a 4WD vehicle may be necessary during snow or icy conditions. The unit does not have air conditioning, but mountain breezes and elevation keep it cool in summer. Guests have access to a free community laundry room and in-unit laundry machines. It's located very close to Sugar Mountain and was not difficult to find. If there is ice/snow, you will need an AWD or snow chains on your tires to access the property. The living room furniture might be the most comfortable I've experienced in a rental property, which was very welcoming after an active day outdoors. The kitchen did not have a coffee maker, which was probably our only inconvenience. It was well-stocked with everything else we could need. I appreciated that we had more than one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, there were already paper towels in the kitchen, and each sink had a bottle of hand soap. I don't always find these things available in vacation rentals and my family appreciated them. Also, the description isn't clear, but the bunk beds are full over full sized bunks, which my teenage kids GREATLY appreciated. The master bed is a bit firm as it is a memory foam mattress so be aware if that makes sleep difficult for you. The Wi-Fi in the condo worked great and the Roku on each TV had plenty of options for entertainment. We would definitely stay at this property again if we were ever in the area. ##### Leonie H.
