Surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the Appalachian Mountains, you'll be just a short 10-minute drive from the slopes of Sugar Mountain Resort and a 12-minute drive from the thrilling runs of Beech Mountain Resort. For a day of adventure, Grandfather Mountain is just a 24-minute drive away, where you can explore the iconic Mile High Swinging Bridge and encounter native wildlife. Back at the cabin, you'll find all the comforts of home, including free WiFi, a washing machine and dryer, a cozy fireplace, and a smart TV with cable channels and streaming. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, outside deck grill, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, blender, and toaster, allowing you to easily prepare delicious meals. Enjoy your culinary creations at the dining table, surrounded by the cabin's rustic charm. Dining is also available on the wonderful deck where you feel like you are in a tree house away from the world! With a baby gate, high chair, pack and play and games for kids, this cabin is perfect for families. Secure parking in the garage completes the package, making your mountain retreat a truly carefree experience. \*Things To Note Please \~Stairs are required to enter this property. We ask our guests to make sure this is something they are comfortable with prior to booking. \~The drive does have a slight incline as so many mountain properties do! It is what make us the mountains. It is paved, however, manageable by 99% of our guests regardless of the type of car they may drive. And... it is maintained in the winter by a wonderful local gentleman on call for us with his snow plow! He never lets us down and we feel super fortunate to have him look after our driveway on the many wintry days the high country produces! \~The property does have 1 security camera facing the driveway and mounted above the garage. This is for monitoring the property when it is unoccupied and for monitoring winter conditions of the drive. We turn it off when our guests arrive except to periodically check conditions of snow accumulation. One thing I really want to point out in this image is that while we have this beautiful park there is a huge ugly pipe in the middle of the photograph. It is part of the necessity of the planning of the park, just like the frame is a necessity of an image. We had a great stay until checkout when I was texted by the property manager and accused of bring a pet. Apparently, the housekeepers found dog food but it was definitely not from us. The downstairs basement had an odor and there was only 4 towels left. I accidentally only selected one guest and we had the allowed amount of 6\. The town center is within walking distance, as long as you don’t mind a few hills on the return. I had to work remotely during my visit, and the Wi-Fi was exceptionally fast—ideal for both work and streaming. The bed was very comfortable, and the deck was a highlight. I enjoyed sitting outside after dark with minimal issues from mosquitoes. Lisa was incredibly kind and responsive. Truly one of the best rentals I have stayed in. ##### James C. It’s conveniently located near Banner Elk restaurants and the park, as well as other activities. Decorated in a welcoming mountain style with lots of bear accents, it had everything we needed. My husband and I had a relaxing visit and plan to return. Lisa (the owner) was a great communicator and made me feel like we were already friends! ##### Carol S.
