The caboose was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Sitting outside in the morning and at the end of the day was incredibly peaceful. Being able to ride our bikes from the caboose's front door to the KVR Trail minutes down the road was so convenient. What a fun, unique place to stay! The owners have done a fabulous job with small touches to make this a really fun train station. My 4 year old loved sleeping in the cupola (that the owners have built a safety railing to make it kid friendly) and using the ticket booth to pretend we were at a train station. The train is comfortable and quiet. The owners are very responsive! It's in a great location with easy, close access to the Kettle Valley Rail Trail and to Osprey lake for fishing and swimming. We also enjoyed the little farm stand around the corner where we bought eggs for breakfast. The caboose also has a covered outdoor space and bbq for additional space to spread out.
