So I asked to check my bags instead and went to sightsee the city. I called the hotel since it was getting late to inform them i would come back late in the night the gentleman on the phone said oh your still coming I said yes he barely spoke English and didn’t understand me. During check out while waiting for housekeeping to check my room a couple came to check in early. I noticed the interaction between the clerk and couple he offered them a seat. The couple proceeded to sit while the clerk checked them in. Than came a lady and brought the couple a welcome drink each. That’s strange I never received one. As I kept watching the clerk I noticed he was checking them in early without charge. I was never treated welcome from the start. I approached the gentleman and asked why I never received a welcome drink he said oh maybe the ladies were busy. I said The ladies were talking they weren’t busy at all. Than I asked why the couple if checked in early and I didn’t his response oh I’m sorryand smile. What he should have done is offered me a welcome drink since I never got one. Just keep in mind The room is extremely small motel. I wouldn’t say it’s a boutique style hotel. It’s near the road far from everything. I asked the staff to replace them but I think they didn't understand me and just made the bed instead of changing the sheets.
