When you get to the hotel, there is no choice but to take a taxi or a local bus (#39). However, it would be hard to get there for those who cannot speak Thai. The low-pressure shower head and interrupted Wi-Fi service made me feel annoyed in my room. No metro nearby, skytrain still in construction, and Bangkok buses is a big joke. Also it is situated well away from the street, so you need to walk a short distance in and out to get a taxi ride. I stayed at this hotel because there was nothing else I needed to do except watch a couple movies at a close-by cineplex with an IMAX theatre. The cineplex was only 10 minutes away on foot. That said, the hotel itself lacks nothing. It's quiet, clean, and well-equipped. The king-sized bed was comfy, sheets clean, hot shower worked well, the staff was welcoming and helpful. There's an abundance of street food nearby even at night.
