We stay at this hotel every time we come to Bangkok, as its very reasonable, we know the staff now, they have a pool and its quite central for getting around. They really need to invest in the place though, the sun loungers need replacing, it needs a new coat of paint and the main thing we find is the beds are very HARD!! You need to get new mattresses as we were in pain every day when we got up!! We're considering finding a new hotel :(

Oldie but goodie, mostly
Well-kept older property -- to judge from the browns, oranges, and yellows I'm guessing the 1970s -- and the price is right. Scrupulously clean, beds/pillows firm but comfortable. The wall murals in the stairwell are alone worth the price of admission! Minor flaws, however. There's no bathtub although this site advertises one. Hot water apparently doesn't reach the sixth and highest floor (where I was), although in Bangkok one hardly misses it much, and one can always boil water for shaving. Also note that half of the floors are smoking, so occasionally you'll get a whiff. But overall I'm happy I stayed there.

Our regular hotel when we're in Bangkok, feels like home after so many visits there, nice pool, restaurant staff are really nice and friendly, apart from 1 lady in restaurant who was racist again my partner and friend. Rooms are fairly basic, but adequate, beds are hard 😏

Great hotel for budget traveller
If you are on a budget this excellent old hotel is perfece. Big bedrooms ensuite with view of the pool. 24 hour restaurant. Very good massage facility. Now, its needs renewal but is very very acceptable nevertheless.

Things may be old, but they are strong and working fine. Pillows and mattress were comfortable. Room temperature was good. Loved it that I could regulate water temperature in the shower. House keeping staff readily offer to help. Unexpectedly, traffic noise can be a problem to me during day time. Not a lot of restaurants are nearby, but this hotel has a 24-hour restaurant open.

Great Hotel
This hotel is not the most modern hotel in Bangkok but it is clean, friendly staff, great location and uses glass water bottles not plastic. Very nice pool. Environmental friendly. It has a 24 hour restaurant with great food at reasonable prices.

Nice and clean with a good location
Staff at the reception desk could be a bit more friendly while checking us in. Some tea or coffee in our room would have been good. Otherwise a very nice and clean hotel.
