An oasis of tranquility with birdsong, incredible for the centre of Bangkok. Comfortable bed, good wifi for video work calls and a very good shower. Location is ideal for all the roadside food stands and night markets around 10-15 mins walk. Breakfast buffet is a little limited: white bread (a toaster is provided), fruit jam (conserve), choice of cereals (chocolate flakes, muesli, cornflakes), yoghurt and sachets of coffee, tea, hot chocolate. A bit noisy in the road outside, with the occasional late-night and early morning scooters but nothing serious. Sadly wasn't easy to get around but first time in Bangkok and lacked local knowledge. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was basic, comfortable and clean.
