Como is sleek and modern, with enormous, comfortable rooms/bathrooms, and quite a sexy vibe. While not a small hotel, it isn't overly large either (like many BKK hotels), which made it really the perfect size. Room / bathroom were amazing, and even came with a Bose sound system and a Nespresso machine (both really, really nice touches). Staff/service were excellent - helped us get a reservation at an amazing restaurant (highly recommend - Issaya Siamese Club
11/10 - lamb shank and local red rice to die for) - and were generally quite accommodating. Pool area is large and gorgeous, if difficult to access (and one place where the staffing faltered - this area was very understaffed). Gym was brand-spanking-new, with a million different high-end machines, and tons of space to stretch out. Though immediate environs have little to offer in terms of bars/restaurants, it's quite walkable to one of the LGBTQ areas of BKK (15-20 mins), and there are options en route, as well. We took breakfast in the room - and it was excellent - but be aware there is no "bar" in the hotel (though they can get you whatever you'd like). Como is not close to many of the standard BKK tourist attractions, so keep that in mind if that's all you're coming to do, but if you want a sleek, sexy, elevated experience that's handy to BKK life of today, this is your spot.
