I stayed here while attending a freind's wedding in Bangkok. The hotel itself was clean and quiet. The pool was much smaller than advertised, but got the job done for some quick relaxing. The fitness center was decent as well. Overall this was a good experience. The only thing I would caution about is that Soi 8 is pretty close to Soi 4, which is like a Red Light district with lots of prostitutes and ladyboys. When walking to and from the hotel, I was propositioned many many times. I just declined and continued along my way, so it wasn't that big of a deal to me. But if you are there on a more family oriented trip, this is probably not ideal for you. The hotel is very close to the Na Na station for the BTS (the metro), which is convenient for getting around Bangkok. The hotel has its own tuk tuk to take you around, but the hotel staff does not understand English very well, so you really have to take your time to explain where you want to go. All in all, not bad!

the biggest perk for this hotel is the connection to terminal 21 and access to two of the train lines. Facilities may not be as big as other hotels but they were never overused when I was there. Room standards was the norm for hotels along similar price ranges.
