The spacious apartment felt very quiet and secluded, opening out onto its own private verandah, beautifully maintained garden and distant views of the countryside. It was our bad luck that building renovations were going on next door, making it pretty noisy during work hours. The accommodation was nice and clean and the gardens are gorgeous. The location is ideal and there are some lovely areas close-by in which to walk the dog. One thing to be aware of though - if you have a senior dog with unsure footing, the flooring is polished timber floorboards. It looks lovely but can be very slippery for old dogs. It was a true oasis, overflowing with vibrant plants and a serene atmosphere that made it perfect for relaxation. Our host, Philippa, was warm and welcoming, ensuring we felt right at home. Her hospitality truly enhanced our experience. The location is another highlight—situated within walking distance from the Main Street, it offered us convenient access to local shops and restaurants while still providing a peaceful retreat. We happened to arrive on a rainy day, but the beauty of the garden lifted our spirits instantly. It was a joy to explore the outdoor space—even in the rain, the serenity of the garden made our stay unforgettable. Thank you for a wonderful three days in such a beautiful area.
