The villa is very large and open and very much full of light. You can push the huge glass doors in the living room completely to the side so the whole living room experience can become an outdoor experience. Very nice if you are lucky as I was and have good weather.
Bedroom and bathroom are also very large and very well done. The view is over a lake large enough to give complete privacy.
I had a freshly flown in Dover sole al meunière which was excellent.
No complains, a very relaxing environment and excellent service from my Villa host AU. Thank you.

Great experience overall and lovely stay.
Really impressed by the professional level of the staff. They're always kind and eager to help.
Only remark is to improve the noise isolation of those rooms facing the swimming pool. Sometimes you get to hear noise from adjacent rooms.

At first, and second, glance I made the fatal error of assuming a two bedroom, two story residence was the wonderful picture they have plastered everywhere. The classic Thai style duplex pool villa. As it turned out when we got there, they put us in an apartment block resembling that of a typical City break rather than a paradise island. There is not one external photo of this building on either site.
The General Manager understood our concerns and kindly offered to move us to what we did see in the picture but due to the Chinese New Year it was very busy and it was their last room which smelt of heavy smoke. Indeed, this is not the hotel's fault and both rooms were very well equipped.
My only gripe was that if we took that room, the people who had originally booked it would have been put in our previously allocated room. Just made me wonder if that was what happened to us. Its that kind of shady dealing that drove me away from the Financial Sector. Completely legal but borderline immoral, and designed for profit from honest hard working fol
