"Beautiful Hotel away"
This is a beautiful hotel with immaculate grounds. It is also away from the craziness of the Fairmont on the lake. We loved our stay, the room was superb, the staff were amazing, and the food and bar were great. The only downside was the CPR (railway) next to the hotel with pretty frequent very large trains at night. This was not mentioned on the Expedia site.

"Just what I was looking for"
I loved our room, especially the wood burning fireplace with the two rocking chairs right in front of it. Unfortunately, we were not given enough wood even though I'm sure if we wanted, we could have got more if we wanted. We did have a short fire which was perfect considering the cool August night that it was. We also had a drink in the bar but I don't think they have a full time employee working the bar, just restaurant staff who would periodically check on us. We were a little put off by the service though. I left to check out the DVD rentals when the waiter asked my husband for the order. My husband wasn't sure what I wanted so the waiter left and it took a while for him to come back. When we did place our order, the waiter went to the bar and proceeded to check his emails/text, whatever. This was practically in front of us. He must have eventually noticed us staring at him with no drinks and realized that he should be working, not on his phone. Overall, good location, has a hot tub which we didn't use but wish we did and I would recommend..

"Great lodge on a great lake…"
I highly recommend Moraine Lake Lodge for its accommodations and proximity to the lake. My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed the lodge and its surroundings. Of the two lakes (Louise & Moraine), we were grateful we stayed at Moraine Lake Lodge as its lake and surrounding mountains and its hiking trails were more appealing and less touristy.

"Pleasant stay at the Juniper"
The Juniper is a charming small hotel set on the edge of the forest just outside of the Banff townsite. Views of the mountains and the town are spectacular if you have a view room. The staff is fantastic and the onsite restaurant was excellent. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here on our next trip.

"Beautiful location"
We were assigned a room with a beautiful view. Although the room was not considered a room with an unobstructed view, it was beautiful. The hotel could use some renovations, including the pool, but facilities were nice and hotel staff was great.

"Beautiful view"
Nice little room with a beautiful view of the mountainside. Only 2 towels in the room so request more if needed. No bathroom fan so if u take a shower it gets a bit humid in the room. Older 19" television on the wall so u prolly won't wanna watch the Super Bowl in your room. Minor negatives tho
