Buffalo Mountain Lodge

the hotel is lovely altho outdated, they still use an actual key for entry :) the room when looked at closely was not very clean and could use some refreshing, the coffee provided was terrible unless you like your coffee to the weakness of tea. Beds were comfy and they were clean as well as plenty of towels in the bathroom, we did not make use of any of the outdoor or fitness facilities. The meal we did have at the Sleeping Buffalo was excellent and it was nice to be able to try something other than the usual run of the mill restaurant fare. Parking was horrendous!! There was some noise from other guests but nothing unbearable.

"Thoroughly impressed!"
Our stay at The Moose Hotel and Suites was wonderful! The hotel is incredibly well appointed and their choice of artwork, fixtures, furniture etc. are all quality selections without being pretentious and uncomfortable. The rooms are comfortable, the shower/bathroom sizeable and the view, spectacular! The food at the restaurant is delicious and the selection is great; room service from the hotel restaurant is fast and the food is well presented and hot. The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional and seemed genuinely concerned that we had a great stay at their hotel. The location is in the heart of downtown Banff and you can easily walk to shopping and restaurant destinations. It's about 20 minutes from Sunshine Village and 35-40 minutes from Lake Louise Ski area. I really can't laud The Moose Hotel enough, I will definitely return!

"Great value for comfort and ambience"
They allowed us for an early check in. Hotel has a homey vibe, very clean and relaxing and enveloped by mountains. The rooms are not soundproof just like in normal homes but still very comfortable. The staff are amazingly nice and accomodating. A few minute walk to shops and restaurants. Breakfast is served in a homey feel as well.

"Really pleased with our stay"
We had a great time at the Juniper which is closely located to Banff and the Norquay ski resort. The hotel upgraded us to the cabin which was amazing and spacious. Every comfort was afforded to us and it was fantastic. The only downside was that the path to the cabin was treacherously slippery due to the warm and cold weather. But other than that, staff were super helpful and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay for a family with two young children and grandparents.

"Weekend Girls Getaway"
Hotel was nice overall. Check in lady was lacking energy and enthusiasm. Our 2 bdrm was spacious. One toilet appeared to not be clean - lid/seat were both up and it had dried splatter on it (cleaned myself). King room door did not close properly, needed black-out blinds and odd that there was not a TV in that room. Ice dispenser didn't work - we got 2 mini cubes the entire weekend. Bathroom lighting is very dim. Day of check out the elevator to parkade was out of order. Thankfully we were on level one and didn't have to drag our luggage down the stairs. While these issues were annoying, we weren't there enough to discuss with the staff and have the issues addressed. Perhaps if we were asked about our stay at check out (same lady that checked us in) we could have given great feedback for them to follow up on.
