"Great proximity to skiing"
Easy check in, lots of options for food/drink. Fireplace in the lobby is a cozy touch. We were very close to the hill for skiing in the morning and was great to have a hot tub before we went.

"Room needs service & hallway smells terrible "
Overall it was a nice stay except that the furnace made a terrible smell in the room, the bathroom sink was clogged and the toilet would run the water until we had to lift the top and stop it. We were on the first floor and the whole hallway smelled disgusting, clearly coming from the garbage room. It was also very hard to get ahold of the front desk, I called a few times with no answer. Friday night we rented movies and could not get the DVD player to work and when I finally got ahold of someone at 8pm he said everyone was gone home and could not help us. Also, we mentioned to the front desk that when the fireplace is turned on it melts the bottom of the DVD player, the sticker on it was melted onto the ledge. Would stay at this hotel again but not through paradise, only directly through the grand rockies resort.

restaurant food is over priced and the quality isn't so good. $30 of daily parking fee is too much considering we paid high price for the hotel why they still charge for parking fee? Other than that, the rest of services are good.

"Great location, spacious room-overall awesome!"
Loved the location of this hotel. The room was spacious and the bedroom was excellent with extremely comfortable bed. Loved the large balcony Only downside is the pull out bed for the 1 bedroom suite. The bedroom was excellent but if you have another guest using the pull out bed- beware **BRING YOUR OWN FOAM MATTRESS COVER** We had a guest staying on the pull out bed, and often do when staying in Canmore, they are not typically the most comfortable but this was the worst i have ever experienced. Springs were sticking out of the pull out and all that could be felt is a ton of springs in the bed. It also sunk into the middle. We had to request a duvet for a slight bit of comfort to sleep, but even through that it was hard as rock and felt as though sleeping on springs. It was more comfortable to sleep on the floor, so that guest did not get a good sleep at all on the pull out bed. Otherwise the hotel is one of the best i've stayed yet.

"beautiful area, hotel next to a train track. "
Hotel was dated, had to ask the front desk for toilet paper, even after house keeping tended the beds. Towels were not replaced. Train track directly behind the hotel. Trains run all night and they're loud. Room was dated, but large. Over all, I'd go back, but request the highway side...

"Decent hotel, good price, great views"
My stay was great, spectacular views, good staff and good food. My only concern was the close proximity of the room I stayed in to a railway line. The railway line is quite busy and could be disrupting.

Room was very clean. The bathroom had large bottles of body soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. There was 2 bottles of water in the room. The pool and hot tub was clean. Front desk was very helpful. Staff were friendly. Over all we had an excellent experience.
