"Room needs service & hallway smells terrible "
Overall it was a nice stay except that the furnace made a terrible smell in the room, the bathroom sink was clogged and the toilet would run the water until we had to lift the top and stop it. We were on the first floor and the whole hallway smelled disgusting, clearly coming from the garbage room. It was also very hard to get ahold of the front desk, I called a few times with no answer. Friday night we rented movies and could not get the DVD player to work and when I finally got ahold of someone at 8pm he said everyone was gone home and could not help us. Also, we mentioned to the front desk that when the fireplace is turned on it melts the bottom of the DVD player, the sticker on it was melted onto the ledge. Would stay at this hotel again but not through paradise, only directly through the grand rockies resort.

"Beautiful Hotel. Lakeview Room is Mandatory"
We had an amazing stay at the Fairmont Lake Louise! I highly recommend you buy up to a Lakeview room as the view is iconic and changes all the time. The staff was very helpful and very conscientious of our needs. While the room was fairly small, having the view room made it feel much bigger. I recommend the Lake Agnes Hike to the teahouse and Big Beehive. And River Rafting on the Kicking Horse was also amazing. A great four night stay at the amazing Lake Louise and the Fairmont Chateau.

"Wonderful condo for a family or 2 couples "
Wonderful location - close to Canmore, Banff. We had a corner unit and the view of the mountains was great. Spacious unit for a family or 2 couples (2 bedrooms/2 baths). Had problems with the TV's not working; called Maintenance and he was right up & fixed the problem. Fireplace did not work. Had problems with the swipe card not wanting to allow us into the bldg. ....patience is required. We booked through Expedia and were told by them that we did not have to put a $50 deposit down on check-in....Incorrect.........Everyone has to put a $50 deposit down for damages/incidentals. The only negative thing was when we were checking out. We had parked outside of the front desk when the Concierge van pulled up, blocked us in where we could not get out. When the male passenger (one of the workers) got out of the van to go inside the front desk area, we said that we were blocked in, and his comment to us was: TELL HER TO MOVE" and he continued to go inside. The driver obviously didn't care if we were blocked in as the van did not move. We were able to back up a few times and squeeze our way out. Kinda left a "bad impression"!!!

"Great hotel would definitely go back"
We stayed in a suite on the fourth foor that had a living area complete with small kitchenette and pull out sofa bed. A small hall led to the bedroom area. Because of this the room is good for a larger family or even two couples that each want privacy. Laundry facilities were just down the hall. The suite was very clean, had been updated, and was extremely comfortable. Great view of the mountains in the distance as well.

"Beautiful view"
Nice little room with a beautiful view of the mountainside. Only 2 towels in the room so request more if needed. No bathroom fan so if u take a shower it gets a bit humid in the room. Older 19" television on the wall so u prolly won't wanna watch the Super Bowl in your room. Minor negatives tho

"Good location and value"
We stayed in a two bedroom condo which was clean with everything you needed for a family once we got in to the property. The check in process is to visit another holiday complex near the condo's. Unfortunately we booked with expedia and they did not make this clear so we had to call back to the UK to get details. They did supply a local number but there was just an answer service on this number. We even visited a local business who were very helpful and called the number but could never get an answer. The property once you did get in was great. Clean and very well equipped with secure parking. Again lack of info let the company down. When you went to use the hot tub on the top floor you had to use a stairwell which you did not get a key to so were then locked in the stairwell ! A resident let us out and explained you have to go to the basement where the parking is and then take the elevator to your level, not the best system if you have just got out a hot tub ! After we left the we realised we had left something behind and called the number given by reception but again only got the answer service and they never returned any calls. Would stay again now we know the process as the room was great but the service lets it down.
