"Cozy hotel. Nice little pub as well."
We loved the fireplace and the jacuzzi tub. It was a great place to stay for our anniversary. I also quite enjoyed the cookies and tea that were in the room when we arrived. Perfect for a cozy get away.

Grande Rockies Resort

901 Mountain St, Canmore - Map
"Nice and comfortable resort close to downtown"
Was very nice, quiet, comfortable stay. Kids loved the pools and hot tub. Hot tub had two parts - one was inside and the other was outside. One of the pools was perfect for toddlers. Kitchen had all utensils/pots/ plates/ etc if you choose to cook. Gas fireplace brought even more the feeling of cosiness. Close to downtown and many restaurants. Short driving distance to grocery stores. Felt like at home and not in the hotel which was nice for change.

I travel a lot and visit many 5 star properties but have never slept in a room that was not perfectly clean. The bed was not made properly my feet touched the mattes as the sheets didn't go down to the bottom of bed nor tucked in. The room contained many human hairs we found. The hallways were not gleaming and could use edges and corner scrubbing. Staff super friendly. Food at Primrose expensive and not worth the price...Earls has better quality. Evening dining in Primrose wood be more enjoyable if the room was darker..we felt like we were in a cafeteria. Was really excited but feel that The Juniper hotel in Banff was a much better hotel.

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

111 Lake Louise Drive, Lake Louise - Map
"Best scenic view"
Hotel is very clean and has amazing views of Lake Louise. The staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your time at their hotel. The hotel rooms are very, very small and not worth the price tag. If you like using hotel gyms, you will be very disappointed with the gym at this fairmont. Two of the three treadmills were broken and there were only 2 other weight machines.
