Has everything you could want when you are on a ski vacation such as heated parking, large room, walk to restaurants and bars, hot tub/steam room/sauna and transportation to the slopes at your door step.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for our ski trip. We had a blast. The front desk was 10 out of 10 and was always willing to give us a hand. Staff were all amazing and very timely. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an excellent stay! Upgraded to the mountain view king room and it was a great decision. The room was so cozy and the view was spectacular. Wonderful place to stay, not one complaint !

They do not have enough parking for hotel guest. They made us park on the street which is paid parking starting at 8 AM. So we had to get up at 8 AM and either move the car or pay for street parking. Who wants to get up from their vacation at 8 AM and worry about parking.

I always stay at the Ptarmigan when I come to Banff. It’s perfect walking distance from downtown, the staff are always super friendly and helpful, and the rooms are always so nice and clean.

Parking is terrible and not close to hotel. Very low ceilings in parkade - not made for anyone over 6 feet. Hot tubs luke warm and jets not working in one of them. Beds comfortable and good toiletries (Rocky Mountain Soap Co). This place is ok if you just need a place to sleep.

Room was decent and clean. Balcony to indoor common area was disappointing. No room service from restaurant was odd as was the restaurant closing at 10am until later in the day. Nice location however, short walk to everywhere we wanted to go.

The room was really lovely & spacious for our one night stay, however the hot tub area could do with an update. There are 2 hot tubs but neither of the jets worked properly in either one which was a bit of a let down. Overall the spa area is looking a bit tired and dirty. The under ground parking was really good, there was a guy cleaning the area with a hose to keep it clean. When we arrived to check in there was nobody on the desk, we waited for about 10-15 minutes then a girl turned up with a coffee in her hand, it was obviously her break time but still not a great impression to have people stood around waiting.
