"Would stay again "
It was an excellent hotel with the most accommodating and kind staff. Wish the kitchen was equipped with a few more items like big mixing bowls or a cheese grater. The sofa bed was rather springy but the upstairs beds were nice. Spacious spot and close to Canmore.

"Great place in Canmore for family or group!"
Checked out this hotel found on Expedia and read the reviews. Was apprehensive based on other reviews but when we arrived, we were impressed and relieved. Room was upgraded for free without request and was amazing, 3 bedroom apartment style place with 1.5 bathrooms. Very comfy, roomy, clean. Other reviews negatively mention passing trains, but in Canmore the train passes almost every hotel as its beside the main road. I was outside in front of the hotel when the train went by and only heard bit of noise from locomotive and rest of train was quiet. Never heard it from inside my place. Stayed 2 nights and tried to extend 2 more, but were booked. Will recommend to everyone, and will stay there again if I return to Canmore. We purchased food at a local store and used the provided bbq and dishes both nights, and had lots of room to invite friends over. The only negatives were poor internet connection (but my daughter always seemed to connect and you can use the computer in the lobby) and that after I checked out I received a call that they were billing me for a pet, which I never had. After a bit of exchange with me asking for details about the "pet" they promised not to bill my credit card. They have a hot tub, but didn't have time to use it, walking distance to downtown and shops and bike rental places. Nice view of the mountains from rooms and private deck. Totally worth staying at!!
