The room was too noisy. We cannot sleep for whole night. The heater, fridge and doors of other room were too noisy. It was not relaxing stay. The price was too high if we compare all above.

Property had all the things we like about a great place to stay. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, great wifi, very comfortable beds. However to our liking the pillows were just a bit too hard. We really liked the fact we could walk downtown for shopping and dining. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay at the High Country Inn again.

Stayed here for a few nights. Got a room with a mountain view. Much better price compared to other hotels in town. The building is a bit old and the decorations are out dated, but comfortable stay. We enjoyed the swimming pool, hot bath and sauna. Most hotels in town don't have sauna. It's on the uptown area so needs a little bit walking to the shopping or restaurants, but we didn't mind it. Parking was underground, which is very convenient. Definitely recommend this place

Noise was the issue we had with this building. It sounded like you were staying in a room at somebody's house versus a hotel. The amount of noise outside of our room and above us was horrible that we had terrible sleeps and had to call the front desk at midnight to complain about the people above us that were stomping around. The door was very poorly sealed, large amounts of light could be seen and conversations in the hallway can sound as if they are in your room. Our neighbors had guests come by in the morning at 7:30 and just simply knocking on the door across our hallway and talking sounded as if it was in our room. The room was nice as were the staff so the excessive noise was unfortunate throughout the night.
