Spacious room, very nicely decorated. Nice little balcony overelooking Banff Ave. Lots of restaurants nearby, and lots to do. Very helpful staff. One thing, the phone in my room didn't work, and no cell service, but they let me use the phone at the front desk for a couple of calls.
My husband and I have been here twice. Once in 2021 for our honeymoon, and we returned again this year! Great location, minutes from the Banff town centre. Parking is great underground. They let you park there before you can check in if you’re early, and let you stay there after you’ve checked out! Staff has always been super friendly. Last year the two guys at the front desk were actually from the town were from in Ontario! Small world. Rooms are always clean and in great condition. We will keep coming back that’s for sure!
Checked in to our "selected at check in" room - was a small room with 2 beds, not the one queen bed room I selected on Expedia. Room was fairly small, disappointing for almost $350. Went to look at pool and hot tub area and found it was all closed due to a health order - all other pool facilities at hotels in Banff have long since reopened so this health order is unique to this hotel and not due to a COVID order in the town. We contacted Expedia and our room was upgraded which we decided was easier than switching hotels at 4pm. The upgraded room did have a jetted tub which was a nice attempt to add part of the hot tub amenity to our stay but it was still a bit disappointing without the pool. Front desk person was friendly and helpful and hotel location is convenient. Can't recommend this hotel right now - without the pool and hot tub areas the price feels like a rip off.
