"Great location, great resort"
The resort is close enough to the main town to walk but they provide free bus transport regularly to and from town. The suite we had was terrific and close to the heated spa and lobby. The suite was spacious with a large lounge/dining area and well catered. There is no restaurant at the resort but you can cater for yourself or take the bus to town (5 minutes away) to many great restaurants. We had a car so we could drive to all the scenic destinations, including Lake Louise (not to be missed but get their early as the crowds on bus tours converge on the place). The gondola provides a great view over Banff and the surrounds. We spent 4 days at the resort and would recommend it anyone going to Banff.

"Staff was great."
Our room was nice, but could've used to be vacuumed & the patio swept. Toilet flusher was broken, but they promptly fixed when we were out for dinner. Hot tub was nice, but sad you couldn't have a drink even in a plastic cup. Overall, not bad

"I love the tub."
A great soaking tub I love. New flat screen tv's an extra sink in our room was interesting. The kingsize bed needs a firmer mattress, plenty of room for rolling into the middle of bed. I would not think of going out onto the balcony until it was repaired. The ice machine gave us dirty ice cubes, we were told it was just cleaned? Send in the ice cube health inspectors.

"Comfortable hotel in the centre of banff."
Upon check-in we were told we didnt have a reservation. We had received many emails reminding us of our upcoming trip so were surprised by this. After closer inspection the receptionist found our reservation.???? The room was comfortable with all the essentials to make for an enjoyable stay but we were woken each morning by either the cleaners in the hallway or a tradie drilling a jack hammer into a nearby wall. The noise from other guests in the hallways is quite loud but if your a heavy sleeper, you may not be disturbed ( other than by the jackhammer!!). The hotels in a good location surrounded by lots of great restaurants.

We were within minutes of downtown Banff but out in the Park itself with Nature all around us. The room was large and very comfortable. The rustic decor fit well into the Park environment.
