"When in Banff, there really is no other place"
From views, to the amenities, to the grand old hotel itself, The Banff Springs hotel "IS" Banff. Afternoon Tea with the terrace view was spectacular. The paths from the waterfall and along the river to centre of the town makes for a lovely walk and much preferred to staying in the hustle and bustle of main street. I really can't rate the hotel high enough.

"nice hotel with water slide"
Everything met our expectations. The water slide and outdoor hot tub was public, but there was another pool and hot tub which required a guest key to utilize. It was quit private. There was also s kids play area that was empty around supper time each day, but closed at 8:00pm. Our kids enjoyed it a lot. Only draw back we found, was no tv channel listing guide. Although no Restraunt on site, there were a couple at nearby hotels. Free bus service was also available.

"Surprise birthday gift"
I wanted to surprise my wife with a quick getaway to Banff and heard about Juniper Hotel, especially their Bistro. It was a huge success and an amazing weekend. The room was cozy with a spectacular view of the valley. The next morning we had an incredible meal in the Bistro. My wife stayed away from the braised rabbit dish because in her own words, "I don;t eat anything I can hit on the highway." She loved her meal as did I. We are planning on going back in the Summer.

"Nice hotel, big rooms, good location."
Everything was really good at this hotel. The only thing that we weren't thrilled with was parking. We drove a truck so couldn't park underground, so they offered us above ground parking but it was really tight and hard to maneuver back there. Otherwise everything was great! And if you have a car and can fit underground then it won't matter.

"A decent spot for a short stay in Banff"
This little hotel is a good spot for a short stay in Banff. The room was a good size, it was clean enough, parking was great but it was a good distance from downtown so walking to restaurants and shopping isn't advised. You have to be aware that when you check in you need to go to the bigger hotel across the street but once you've figured that out I think you'll enjoy your stay. The room is tired but still well maintained and clean. It's reasonably priced so makes it a good option amongst the expensive Banff resorts.
