"Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation. Quiet except for the continuous roaring of the sea and the waterfall. Wonderful staff, friendly and courteous. In particular the chief chef who made fascinating meals in local style. "I was not inconvenienced by booking 2 separate reservations and I did not need to move. I am VIP at Expedia. So one reservation, I didn’t get a room upgrade. One reservation, I did get a room upgrade. Best of all worlds would have been to Received all room upgrades plus No need to move from the best room. So that would have meant a 2 step upgrade on the second reservation. Also, it was not highlighted that I would receive a 20% discount on spa services. All staff should have known this and should have promoted this saving. Would have been good for the resort and good for me. "
