Opie’s is great for ice cream and snowballs! The house is right off of the freeway so it made it super easy for us to get on the road for our tours in DC, Baltimore, Annapolis and Gettysburg. My siblings and I live in jersey and our family had a reunion in Maryland and came across this beautiful comfortable spacious home! It was very clean from the rooms to the bedding. Oh lets not forget the parking space.. a lot of room! The house was close to our events and only a few minutes away from a walmart convent store and a gas station. The location is excellent, very easy to get to, right off highway and in safe area. Everything we visited was within 30 min drive of the house. We had 9 family members (6 adults and 3 kids 13-18 yrs old) and had enough beds for everyone, with exception of one person slept on sofa. But it's a large and long sofa, so sleeps comfortably. The host was excellent also. Had to contact them with a couple questions and they responded back immediately. The were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. It was so clean and had everything we needed for my family (me, husband, nanny, 3 kids). It is conveniently located by the interstate too so we could easily visit our extended family around Maryland. Aug 1, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Ideal location for sports events We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and camp and found this location to be a perfect spot for each access to the interstate as well as local restaurants and grocery stores for our weeklong stay. The property is as described and we loved the fact that the kitchen was spacious with a large fridge, coffee maker, large trash and recycling bin, and a little table within the kitchen for a quick spot for breakfast. An added perk was the fact that there are two washing machines and 2 dryers which helped in getting dirty sports attire cleaned quickly with multiple loads at once. The house had everything we needed, but could make recommendations for some added touches like Kleenex boxes and mini trash cans in each room, a refresh on the sheets and towels, and maybe a deep clean of the carpets as they are quite stained. Should our travels take us back to Catonsville, we will definitely consider this property again. The owner was very gracious and kind. ##### Lindsay K. The place is so convenient - right off of 695 with tons of shopping in the immediate area. The owner was extremely accommodating and responded immediately to all communications. The house was super clean, the driveway and street parking was convenient an more than ample. The amenities in the house were perfect! I'm used to having to bring linens, towels and other stuff to rental houses and this house had everything we needed. I got so many compliments from my family and friends for finding this place - they couldn't believe how well it suited our needs. If you are looking for convenience to downtown Baltimore or BWI, you simply can't go wrong with this place!!! I would rent it again in a heartbeat. ##### Craig F. House was dirty. Owners were horrible to work with. Upon arrival I walked through the house. Bathroom / tub on first floor was covered with pubic hair. I went upstairs to second bathroom and found more of the same. Hair trimmings all over the floor, something spilled on bathroom floor. Pubic hair entangled in towels hung for our use. I immediately communicated this to the owner who told me her husband had checked the property the day before and found it clean. I told them I was not comfortable staying there with my daughters. If this was their idea of clean I can’t imagine when the bedding was last washed. I asked for a refund as we immediately booked a hotel room and left. They refused and suggested we left the mess there ourselves. The owners were awful to work with. Both property and owners have been reported to VRBO. I wish I could post the pictures and video I took of the bathrooms. Take my word. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY. ##### Shannon B.
