Travel back in time to the mid-century modern era the moment you walk into the home & enjoy every welcoming detail from the green shag rug, to the super graphic wall mural to the Kit Cat Klock. This house was styled to provide interest & backdrops at every turn which will make for perfect social media moments & memories for years to come! It is a great place to relax, enjoy temp housing, or as a home base while you explore the city! I am often next door or close by if needed, and if not, will let you know who is covering for me and how to contact them. Please call or text if you need anything! This gem is steps away from Patterson Park, the largest green area in Baltimore with gorgeous water features and the famous pagoda as well as a dog park. Local dining, art galleries and shopping are within walking distance or a short rideshare trip, as are neighboring areas Canton and the famous Fell's Point. The Patterson Park neighborhood is quiet, safe and beautiful! Do exercise typical caution when in a city setting. Enjoy the privacy of the whole home to yourself! There is a fenced in patio behind the home. There is street parking available, with some restrictions on one side on Mondays and Tuesdays 9a to 1p. This is a rowhome with 3 stories. The bedrooms are upstairs on the 2nd floor with full bath, while the half bath and pull out couch are on the main floor. There is a finished basement with multiple backdrops and areas to hang out or listen to records! There is also a twin sized daybed in the basement. FYI there is no door separating the main floor from the basement. Walking distance to hospitals, attractions and dining, or take a brief rideshare trip to get to downtown, the Inner Harbor, etc. The home is a 15 minute drive from BWI airport and has easy access to main highways such as I-895, I-295 and I-95\. It is 60 minute drive or even faster train ride to Washington DC. The Penn Station train station is about a 10 minute drive/ride-share trip away. If you would like to have a gathering, please let me know the details for approval to make sure it is a good fit. No large parties allowed. We love dogs, but they must be approved as well! Things that we appreciated:-Spacious rooms, including bathroom with two sinks-LOADS of extra towels, pillows, and linens-Safe and cute neighborhood with free on-street parking, near to Baltimore sites -Host is nearby and quick to reply if you have a question -Air mattress with linens for our 6th person so we didnt have to put them on pull-out couch-House was warm and comfortable, didn't feel like the host was trying to be cheap with you (sometimes hosts cheap out on everything from linens to toilet paper, but not here!)-Access to washer dryer if you need it-Host left thoughtful note and some snacks, a very thoughtful touch-Departure instructions were easy and reasonable (bring linens to laundry room and take out trash, NBD)All in all, if you are looking for a unique, safe and comfortable place to stay in Baltimore, I recommend this place! ##### Stacey M. The aquarium and children’s museum were less than 10 mins away. The zoo was a 15 minute drive. And Patterson Park was just down the block with 2 playgrounds, a duck pond, and lots of space to walk etc. My only suggestion is to bring some of your own pillows/blankets as there weren’t any extra aside from 1 afghan. ##### stacey b.
