This listing is so misleading. The first 2 pictures make it seem like the property is in a nice loft building with gated parking. This is incorrect the day before check-in they will let you know that you'll be staying in a basement! The free uncovered parking is street parking. The place was cozy and comfortable enough but if have any issues walking the stairs to the basement apt are a little scary as you will see in the attached photos. You have no control over the temperature it's controlled upstairs so you are sweating or freezing and the vent is right above the bed. There is no hot water in the kitchen sink. There is no light outside the apartment so going down the jagged stone steps at night was the greatest. Since I was in the basement there was just a normal door at the stop of the stairs that didn't help with sound at all. The neighbors upstairs were so loud when they came home at night, in the morning they set up off the smoke detector. I was told that I had to take my own garbage out to the backyard; however I could not access the backyard so I had to throw my trash in the neighbors garbage that was in front of their house. I didn't realize that this site had rentals such as this. Immediately stuffed up and couldn't breath. Luckily was able to spray lysol that helped after 20 minutes. very cold inside with draft running across the bed. No heater controls and heat is controlled from upstairs tenants. Heat only came on at 2am and smelled like cat, also cat outside door crying. Had to sleep fully clothes with long johns and comforter to barely stay warm. Was 2 night stay for 2 people and only given i small towel and wash cloth. Bathroom door only opened partially to get by Toilet so close to sink, you have to sit on it at 90 degrees No cable or tv options, had to use apps from my phone to even get any shows Wifi didn't become available until after midnight. Bulk head hangs down over 12 inches from ceiling and is right outside of bathroom, so you bash your head every time even at 5'6". No directions on anything so you must try and figure it out. No way of getting extra supplies, everything locked up. Outlets don't work and are loose in the walls with insulation packed around them. Signs saying don't use microwave and coffee pot together but neither plugged in. If you don't sleep together, then you need to bring a blue up mattress. Will never go here again.
