Other than that it had a musty smell/ smelled like cats when we first entered. The ceiling in the basement was maybe 6/7 ft high where we had to duck while walking around. The air conditioning was set on 70 with a lock, which was fine, BUT it didn’t work in the top two rooms where the temp was well over 90 during the day. It’s a good place to stay for one or two nights but if you plan on doing longer I wouldn’t recommended it. I will say the design of the building was very interesting and the stairs will remind you of old town homes. The washer and dryer worked correctly and was a big plus allowing us to pack light. The owner was great with communication and reminded us of the rules/ check out rules making it easy to check out. Was very hot and thermostat was controlled by owner and was never set to a comfortable position and AC Was turned off in the middle of the night. Each room had a code on the door which felt unnecessary and the surrounding neighborhood was a little bit seedy. Bathroom on second floor water pressure was so hard it hurt your body to take a shower. Top floor bead rooms not friendly if your tall slanted ceiling make you hit your head if not carefull and steps leading up to upper rooms are very steep.
