The house is walking distance to a very private beach cove where it is not unusual to be the only person there. Walk for miles on the beach if you want! Dominicalito beach is just a block away to the South. Also sport fishing and whale watching tours are just a short walk nearby! Dominical town center full of restaurants, bars, nightlife and supermarkets and is a beautiful 25 minute walk on the beach! There is a secluded majestic waterfall (Posa Azul) and swimming hole just down the street. Everything you need close by to have a perfect vacation in Costa Rica. Built to entertain day or night! The infinity edge spa is spectacular! This spa consists of a bench seat going around three sides, infinity edge with the sea and 24 large jets 2 in each position (one hits lower back and one upper). The spa also has Two, 3 horsepower pumps to guarantee an excellent massage! The pool and spa is lit with programmable LED “ InteliBrite” lighting system. The pool lights change to any color of the rainbow on the setting you choose! There is a very private outdoor shower and enclosed toilet with vanity right next to the pool for convenience. The covered deck design allows you to enjoy the outdoors all year, rain or shine! You can sit outside and watch an amazing sunset in an afternoon downpour in the rainy season and remain perfectly dry and not get chased inside. The inside living area is a large open design and includes the kitchen, bar and TV viewing area. The TV viewing area consists of a large sofa that converts into a very comfortable queen size “Serta” memory foam mattress, pull out sofa bed and also two love seats that easily fit 8 people to sit and watch the 60" Sony Bravia LED smart screen with Net Flix ready to go and full HD channels. Great location perfectly centered between Domincalito where we surfed daily and Dominical where we would eat and shop. Couldn’t get enough of all the animals on the property. We had an incredible holiday at Paul’s Villa. The views are magical, the wildlife is on your doorstep, and the villa is well-equipped and beautifully maintained. I highly recommend this property. The town of Dominical is a short car ride (or walk on the beach) and has 2 great supermarkets, a pharmacy, and lots of restaurants. Everything you need. It’s the nicest town along this stretch of the Pacific. Much nicer than Quepos, Jaco or Uvita. We look forward to coming back. Paul and Alejandro were hands on and very helpful throughout our stay. This property was perfect for ourselves and 3 grown children and their spouses with 4 bedrooms.. all with king beds and en-suites so no one felt like got a lesser room and two extra half baths in good locations. Beautiful pool area with overview of the ocean— hearing waves at night was so magical.Alejandro gave us several great recommendations such as chef Rosbin who came three days, massages that came to the house. Activities such as paragliding which was definitely a hi light. It was a great week of family time and the house is set up so comfortably and evening activities with a pool table and foosball were used. We hope to return sooner rather than later. ##### Paul T. Loved the genuinely incredible views and design. Modern comfortable furnishings. Plenty of space so each couple could have some private time and groups of 4 to 10 could gather as well. Great grill and new fridge. 20 year old house showing some need for maintenance though with hottub tripping breaker on first night, leak in roof above 2nd floor bedroom, ac failing in downstairs bedroom another night and broken microwave after first two days. Alejandro did all he could to insure a great stay including arranging rafting and zip lining and an incredible meal w chef roger. Welcome basket of fruit and wine a wonderful touch. mic microwave. I took my mother and my two adult daughters and their significant others with my husband on a wonderful family vacation. The house is well equipped, and each bedroom has a fantastic view of the ocean and an en suite. We enjoyed hanging out together, Paul and Alejandro, we’re happy to help with anything we needed. We are already looking to book again this time maybe with a group of friends. Walk to the beach is quite steep so you need to take that into consideration. What a beautiful house with incredible ocean views. It is possible to have complete open-air living and was like sleeping outdoors with a very comfortable bed. Having returned home, I am missing the sound of the waves. Alejandro made arrangements for a shuttle to pick us up in San Jose and drive us to the house. Then our rental car was delivered to us and was picked up at the house at the end of our stay. Nothing could have been more convenient. Best vacation ever. ##### Carol M. Beautiful house with an amazing view! The photos do not do this house justice . We were a group of 4 couples and had plenty of space to lounge & relax. The bedrooms suites all have super comfortable beds. Our group is all from AZ & we struggled with the humidity of Costa Rica. The bedrooms all had wonderful Air conditioning units in them but kitchen/living room did not have air which would have been an added bonus. Paul & Aleandro went above & beyond to make sure that we all had a great time and were always there to help or give us suggestions. We used Chef Roy & enjoyed 5 beautiful evenings at home. The pool was a refreshing after a day of tours & exploring & the pool table & outside areas provided hours of relaxation. The house does sits above one of the main roads & the Jake brakes from the trucks are loud. We are already missing the friendly people & beautiful views. The chefs were great and created tasty meals for our mix of vegetarians and omnivores. The road to the house is steep and you definitely need a 4 wheel drive. Alejandro was very responsive and was always able to make dinner reservations and liaise with trip organisers. Our only complaint was that check in wasnt until after 5 - we’d landed in San Jose at 7am after an overnight flight. I understand that the house had to be cleaned etc after the previous guests checked out but 5 seemed unusually late for check in. ##### Nicki D. Paul's rental home near Dominical is as comfortable as it is beautiful. Alejandro and the cleaning crew are wonderful and super helpful. The area is lovely and easy to get around. Some logistics: We flew on Sansa from San José to Quepos. We rented a car at Adobe Car Rental (with Alejandro's help) and they met us at the airport with the car. The Quepos airport is about 30 minutes from the house and the road is nice. There are many great restaurants in the town of Dominical and in the town of Uvita, 20 minutes south of the house. There's a nice surfing or boogie boarding beach across the road from the house. Paul provides boogie boards, and we rented surf boards in Dominical. The kitchen is well stocked and Alejandro makes sure you have a few necessities when you arrive. There is a nice market in Dominical, 2 minutes from the house and BM Supermarkets in either Quepos or Uvita. Overall, this is one of the best managed rentals we've stayed in! ##### Kathleen A. We absolutely loved this property! We were a group of 7, parents, adult kids plus significant others! The view never got old, the sound of the surf was sooo relaxing! We saw a monkey, toucans, and iguanas from the front deck! Were there a few minor difficulties.. sure. Yes, the driveway can be intimidating, yes, toilet paper goes in the garbage, yes, construction trucks rumble up & down the driveway. Don’t care. Can’t wait to go back!! Paul & Alejandro were super friendly & super helpful. We cooked breakfast every morning at the house & enjoyed dinners at La Pascala, Exotica, and Citrus. We also LOVED having Manrique & Diego (from Chef Roy) cook 2 dinners at the house. We had the time of our life on our excursion with Amigos Del Rio! Jul 4, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Beautiful house in Dominical We enjoyed a stay here with 9 of us, 5 adult/kids (age 15-22), and 4 parent/adults. The house is as beautiful as advertised in the pictures. Each bedroom is essentially a master suite. The kitchen was very nice, with everything you'd need to cook meals and more. We very much enjoyed playing pool outdoors but under the overhang in the evenings when it would rain sometimes through the week. The beds had very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Last but not least, Alejandro the concierge made sure everything was taken care of, from a tour of the house and city when we arrived, to helping book tours (all of which were excellent), to making dinner reservations for us. 11/10 service from him :). You should be aware that the (0.15 mile) driveway is very steep but it is paved. If you walk up you'll have some sweat on your forehead when you reach the top but that's perfect because you can go straight into the pool and it's quite refreshing! Dominical is a very laid back, quiet town, but with enough bars/restaurants and small shops to keep our "kids" busy. You can walk to essentially your own private beach (it's not really private, but we literally had it to ourselves every time we went) in about 10-12 minutes. You do have to walk for a short stretch (I'd guess about 150-200 yards) on a fairly busy road to get there, but it wasn't too bad. Another 20 minutes walking on the beach and you're downtown Dominical. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house to others. ##### Jeff C.
