"This is a cozy , well appointed casita perfect for a couple. The decor was exceptional with artwork creating a unique environment. It has everything you need for at home cooking , and the infinity pool is great. The outside bathroom and shower was an unexpected pleasurable experience . "This was our first time to Costa Rica. The Hona Beach Hotel was ideal for us. Great location, AC, cleaning service as needed, and breakfast each morning. the property manager, Yeison, was top notch. Friendly, relaxed and upbeat, and always professional. Always attended to our needs and followed through on everything. We highly recommend the hotel."

"Amazing property with lots of wildlife . You do need 4 wheel drive for main road and property. Once there so many birds and monkeys and other animals. Just a short drive to town also . Owners are very nice people."

"Silvia and Ferdinando were excellent hosts. Silvia oriented us to the area and checked on tours. The property is a large garden with pool and outdoor kitchen for guests. The town is small and low key. You can walk to either beach entry. We ordered dinner at our host's Italian restaurant. Ferdinando cooked: it was wonderful. Three great courses. We were off season for whales so will try to come back to Dolce Uvita"

"Max and his wife are fantastic, caring amd interesting people who treat you like family. Max is supremely knowledge of the area, the dinning options and activities available. He is responsive and helps you book and facilitate everything. The place is clean centeral and has the great vibe of staying with family. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The coffee is divine. This is one of the best places i have stayed at in a long time. I highly recommend Mavi."
