"This is a cozy , well appointed casita perfect for a couple. The decor was exceptional with artwork creating a unique environment. It has everything you need for at home cooking , and the infinity pool is great. The outside bathroom and shower was an unexpected pleasurable experience . We would come back and stay for another adventure to this part of. Costa Rica"
"This was one of my favorite places we stayed in Costa Rica! It’s in a gorgeous location, was super clean and comfortable, and has a huge balcony facing the ocean. I sat and watched macaws for ages."
"This was our first time to Costa Rica. The Hona Beach Hotel was ideal for us. Great location, AC, cleaning service as needed, and breakfast each morning.
the property manager, Yeison, was top notch. Friendly, relaxed and upbeat, and always professional. Always attended to our needs and followed through on everything.
We highly recommend the hotel."
"Amazing property with lots of wildlife . You do need 4 wheel drive for main road and property. Once there so many birds and monkeys and other animals. Just a short drive to town also . Owners are very nice people."
"Silvia and Ferdinando were excellent hosts. Silvia oriented us to the area and checked on tours. The property is a large garden with pool and outdoor kitchen for guests.
The town is small and low key. You can walk to either beach entry.
We ordered dinner at our host's Italian restaurant. Ferdinando cooked: it was wonderful. Three great courses.
We were off season for whales so will try to come back to Dolce Uvita"
"Max and his wife are fantastic, caring amd interesting people who treat you like family. Max is supremely knowledge of the area, the dinning options and activities available. He is responsive and helps you book and facilitate everything. The place is clean centeral and has the great vibe of staying with family. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The coffee is divine. This is one of the best places i have stayed at in a long time. I highly recommend Mavi."
"What a gem. It’s a stunning property outmatched only by incredible, kind and helpful staff. From a special laundry request, to making sure I got to see the Tucáns, to remembering my drink of choice, they made me feel safe, special and well taken care of. Don’t hesitate to book this!"

"What a great fine alturis was!
Fun accommodating staff. Cool setting, incredible views. And the red snapper dinner was the best i've ever happened!
Hope I get a chance to go back."
"Slightly remote lodge, with amazing ocean and jungle views. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only restaurant served very good food, offers friendly service, with daily specials. The pool is beautiful and peaceful. Lots of wildlife are present, including a troop of Howler Monkeys that howl at 4 am and 4 pm everyday. There are lots of trails for people to explore. It may not be a good place for everyone though. It was a little too quiet for us. It is a place that attracts those who just want to read, mediate or stare into the trees. It attracts older people I think, but the walkways are very difficult for older people, the rocks are slippery and rounded, and the cabins are far apart along steep pathways. There are some very nice trails, but they forbid walking them at night. That really sucks, because that is when the interesting animals can be seen on the trails. I won't stay where I cannot explore at night. There are screens on the cabin windows, but no air conditioning, only fans. We were very warm at night, so lost some sleep. I really like the property, the people, food and scenery, but won't stay there again. Just too boring for my taste. Too many rules! I want to be were I can explore at my leisure and interact with nature and with others. No hotel pool should close at 7 pm! "
