Really wanted to give 10 but....
This hotel has a strategic location, my sister stayed here back in 2017 and was quite impressed by this property? however, this time we can see that the hotel has been under maintained, you can see the furniture in the room are worn out and lack of cleanliness e.g dust all over the lamp case and coffee table, yellow stained toilet seat, stained on the linen and the curtain. This hotel has lots of potential however needs lots of improvement on the Housekeeping side. I worked in the hotel myself, in my opinion the listed price isn't match the condition of the room. The few things that saved this hotel from my 1 star review are the breakfast (lots of variety and good taste), the pillow (firm and comfy) and the attentive staff. You also need to pay attention on the sofa, due to the material of the sofa and probably lack of air circulation it might invested with either bugs or mites, I got itch when I sit on the sofa and when I reported to the Front Office they stated they will do treatment however when the staff came I realized that the treatment is to cover the sofa with new linen not some kind of spray or hot steam. Kindly improve your maintenance and housekeeping procedure.

Stayed atv3 bedroom Royal Suite Nice view by the beach, sound of the waves and winds..makes me happy.Spa was good especially after a tiring day. Good spread at breakfast.Location is near to restaurants and shops.5 minutes walk to Kampoeng Pinisi. Good stay.Recommended for people with family.Would stay again.

Nice hotel from the outside, great ocean view & swimming pool that’s about it , check in @3pm and had to wait for another 1h , bed cover / sheets was dirty/stains , called the front desk and requested to give us clean bedding . bathroom shower had lots of mold everywhere & water smell weird/old pipe , kitchen blinds not working properly and broken . great stuff they are very nice n polite sad part the hotel need lots of fixes n cleaning up to do .

Highly recommended!
The hotel is actually blocks of apartments so the rooms are really spacious, feels more like studios really. Situated just by the sea coast, I was able to enjoy the sea breeze while doing my work on my laptop in the afternoon into the evening. Breakfast was slightly lacklustre but made up for by the location and scenery.

Checked in, usual info about breakfast etc not given, had to ask for assistance with bag. Room needs attention, bathroom filthy, pee stains all over toilet, bathroom stuck of urine, had to get them to come and disinfect bathroom. ( Still stunk ) curtains are wrong size for Window. No water in room but a empty jug so you have to go get it yourself. Didn't fancy menu so ordered a delivery, security would not let him near hotel. On check out, 2 members of staff just watched me struggle down the stairs with three bags, no help what so ever. Room was on 16th floor but still very noisy from traffic. Would not stay there again

Te. hotel was. Okay. Rooms were large. They could use better maintenance and all the balconies are locked so you can’t use them. The staff were fantastic to us and made our stay better.

Travelling alone and had booked executive room, changed to a superior which was much better in both room felling and also the comfort. The hotel is ok, and there are some good spots to view the sea. No beach though. Internet Wifi good.

Almost great.!!
Clean, Nice location, has a nice safe and bathroom. Has an elevator and LCD TV. Comfortable bed, great swimming pool. Excellent complimentary breakfast. The toilet kept running all night they needed to fix it. The AC worked great. The safe was large enough for my laptop. They do attract many children / families and those children fill the pool many hours and run around in the hallways, it is a little hard to get a good night sleep with all the noise.

I think my title should sum it up. This hotel was saved by the view orherwise room was dirty like small ants everywhere from kitchen to bathroom. Stain on the bedsheet, ashes on the couch.

The Hotel is about 30 minutes Airport, rather smooth traffic compare with other Big cities of Indonesia. The Hotel is near a mosque therefore you will experience the praying music for the evening, till 9pm+. The city closes very early like 7pm ( not in the shopping malls ) and you will not able to find local foods on the street. The Spa and Massage service is closed till next year and fitness centre will not provide towel, you need to bring your own. The room that I was staying seem clean but the chair at the dining table is bugged and I have to overlay with towel. But I have to say the sea view from the Hotel is good and is nice to have the sea breeze in the morning.

Due to a situation with our flight, we had to stay in Bakipapikan. It is not a touristy town, but the hotel was on the water. Great we could relax here for a few days since our original plan did not go accordingly. It was very hard to determine which hotels were nice in Balipapikan. This hotel got 3.5 stars, but it looked like we could just relax on the beach. First of all no beach. The hotel just overlooks the ocean. The pool closes so early at 6:00. Our hotel safe did not have a battery in it, but that didn't mater because the door didn't lock! We pre-paid for three days, but ended up leaving two days early. Oh and this place was so dirty! Mold all over the bathroom, ants crawling all over the floor and the walls were dirty. All of the amenities were really run down too. I was very dissapointed with hotels.com for having this hotel listed on their website.

Balikpapan is just a very small city with a lot of industries and commercial running on, so for holidays are not so suitable especially I'm bringing along my whole family, but lucky the hotel have everything so I can have a very good rest and be close to my wife and kids, love it very much. Bt alcohol are quit difficult to buy around the hotel, and hotel charge very expensive....buy overall I felt alright with my stay....

We had specifically requested a non-smoking room and were told that they had none available. They later offered to give the room an "ozone" treatment that of course had no affect. We were moved the next day to a non-smoking room. However, our friends that stayed here and had the same problem. They were moved from one smoking room to another smoking room. The management here is lacking at best. I highly recommend going somewhere else.

I booked one night for business travel and definitely wished I had stayed another. Lovely pool area overlooking the ocean and nice breakfast. Rooms were nice but noticed very small things that you see in very nice but clearly foreign/developing country hotels like clearly a brand new table but with a chip that must have happened in installation or the shower pressure being a bit low, but I don't care about that small stuff if the overall experience was comfortable, which this was.

Front desk service sangat ramah, layanan cepat dan mendapatkan petunjuk yang sangat jelas, jalan menuju kamar terkesan tidak menarik, lift perlu di renovasi, se tiba di kamar terkesan bau lembab dan bahkan kasur dan bantal masih tercium bau keringat. Amenity cukup lengkap, kamar mandi dan shower nyaman, televisi dan pendingin ruangan menjadikan kesan kurang menarik pada suasana kamar meski kamar sangat cocok untuk kunjungan liburan keluarga

Je krijgt hier veel vierkante meters voor je geld. Een aparte zitruimte en eetruimte, zodat je geen kruimels oo bed krijgt als je in het hotel wilt eten. Ze hebben een prachtig zwembad, dat op zee uitkijkt, en waar je degelijk baandjes kan trekken. In de ochtend kan het er wel erg druk zijn. Het hotel heeft enorm veek kamers en wordt goed bezocht, waardoor het bij de receptie en bij de lift wel eens lang wachten kan zijn. Onderhoud loopt hier en daar wat achter, maar het blijft een favoriet.
