This was one of the most beautiful and will run hotels I have stayed at in Southeast Asia. The pool and courtyard are the centerpiece. The location is great and still quiet.

Beautiful outside the room...
It was not for a lack of trying on the staffs part but they never stood a chance. The hotel is out dated and poorly maintained. The small AC units can not keep up as the rooms are large and have many air gaps. The internet/wifi might as well not exist. The bathrooms are gross with stains all over and the hardware is covered in hard water crusties and green residue... There was also no safes in the room as stated on hotels.com. The staff gave me an upgraded room that was a bit better for the AC and the bathroom but still not great. They gave me a fan and power adapter as well to use during my stay. Again the staff rocks but maybe someone should manage the maintenance crews better?

We had a great time staying here. Our previous hotel was very dated and dirty so we left and reserved this quaint boutique hotel. It has a beautifully kept pool. If you are looking for new then you may be disappointed as the rooms are dated and the electrical is older. The breakfast is just okay. This being said...we rented bikes from the hotel, enjoyed swimming in the pool and found the location to be very handy. All in all good value for a 3.5 star hotel that we would go back to again.

Delightful and quiet small hotel (19 rooms) in a good location - close to the beach if you choose to walk through one of the nearby beachfront properties. Beautiful pool surrounded by lovely stonework and lush garden. Suite 2 was simple, spacious and comfortable, only steps from the pool. Air con excellent. Bathroom clean and functional but a bit dated. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special.

Classy Hotel in a Peaceful Setting
Tamukami Hotel satisfied our needs perfectly. The room was clean and very tastefully furnished. It wasn't trying to be a boutique hotel, but it was very classy. Service was very good. Massage on premises, nice pool. A la carte breakfast included. Strong Wifi. Location was good, up a private street, quiet street. The owners are a European couple who live on the premises, so everything is in tip top shape. Fair warning: Sanur attracts an older and more generic crowd. Not the place to be if you're younger with lots of energy and social intrests. Also, keep in mind that Sanur is no longer one of the nicer beaches in Bali. I personally prefer Nusa Dua.

Excellent boutique hotel. Beautiful pool and gardens. Owners on site. Suite is excellent (had a few issues that needed fixing eg. air con, locks on cupboards doors which act as the safe, broken shower fitting). Would and will return. Though not beachfront, easy walk to the beach by cutting through the Beach Bar and Restaurant which is across the road. Breakfast available at a cost.

Peaceful and pleasant
Very pleasant and peaceful. Staff really polite and nice. Less than a minut to the main town street, many shops to roam and stop. Tucked in so you are away from the noises and swimming pool and the environment were really nice.

Friendly little hotel just needing a few tweaks
Lovely pool area with beautiful plants. Clean, tidy and comfortable just a little tired and dated in parts. Staff lovely and helpful. I can’t say I was impressed with the food, compared to nearby hotels and restaurants. WiFi excellent which is always a bonus with today’s traveller. Air conditioner noisy as was the fridge and surprised didn’t have tea making facilities or safe in room but a very large room (superior). I got a good deal, last minute, and would have been disappointed if paid full price as think it’s expensive for the area.

Good to be back.
We returned to this lovely hotel but my request for a downstairs room by email was not acted upon neither was my request acknowledged by email. The staff were very apologeic and after 2 nights we were in our favourite room when it became available. A concern was the replenishment of room supplies but the staff were very helpful and we received them once we asked for them. We love this hotel and will continue to stay here whenever we return to Bali.

We were a bit underwhelmed with our stay. While hotel and facilities were good we found the staff a little flat. Had breakfeast once and found it to be average. Most of the clients were retired and European which did not match our demographic. Not a terrible experience, however, not for us.

We enjoyed the family liked atmosphere in this hotel. We met the owner several times and had a short talk which we find quite nice. Breakfast was fine. The hotel is located very close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The room was spacious, with a nice view from the balcony. The only thing we missed were the tea/coffee making facilities.

Nice hotel in a good location
The Tamukami has an excellent location in Sanur. 75 meters in from the main "tourist street" it has a quiet, but central location. To the beach it is about 250 metres (if you take the shortcut through La Taverna Hotel or 350 metres) via the formal pathway. The hotel offers a choice of five set breakfast menues, we took the English breakfast, all choices are accompanied by a fresh fruit platter. The juices could have been better, as they were watered out a bit, but on the whole good breakfast choices. We took the hotels set dinner on four or five occasions and it was very good as well. The prices on this menue was good, even if the wine, as everywhere else, was high. We had a standard room one floor up. Would advise to take one flight of stairs up if you like your privacy. Also, ground floor rooms can be a bit dark due to all the greenery around the pool. Rooms well cleaned, well kept and with a great AC that was set on a "standard temperature", not too cold and not to hot. The pool area is well kept, although there aren't sun loungers for all the guests, we always found one when we came to the pool. Nice flowers and quiet most of the times. Majority of guests are couples, but we came during a family celebration so the pool was maybe less quiet on the latter part of our 11 night visit. Owners are friendly and always present. Nothing to complain about. Safe bet. Beach in Sanur not the best though.

We stayed at the Tamukami for 11 nights. It's small quiet hotel set back from the noise of the road. Our room was big with a comfy king sized bed. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Everything was clean and tidy.

The hotel is older but nicely kept-up. The Belgian owner was there to meet and greet us. He showed us around and was obviously proud of his establishment. And rightfully so.The hotel retains a homey feel unlike some of the insulated, sterile, High walled resorts. The room was spacious and as many others noted, a GIGANTIC bed. It slept all 3 of us comfortably. The AC was needed (heat index of 120 F) and worked great. Our daughter loved the pool (the beach was too hot to enjoy). Breakfast wasn't fancy but adequate. The hotel has a nice restaurant with an open kitchen and varied menu. A little pricey though. The hotel is NOT on the beach. But close. Cross the road, through an open (for now) lot and there you are. This is a touristy town. Too touristy. Everyone hounds you to buy something. There's no escaping it. If you wan to really enjoy Bali's beauty head north to the hills or the North coast. The people are much warmer. The nature more abundant. Sanor sadly is a hot, dirty,and rude Ausso/European run tourist trap and not very indicative of the Balinese or their culture.

A quite place in paradise
Being away from the road was a bonus as there was no traffic noise and quite serene. The staff could not be any more helpful they were wonderful. Food was very good and cheap we didn't bother to eat anywhere else much as it was so good. Room was very nicely appointed. we had a suite which gave us a bigger room with a lounge area and we found that was quite useful as it was so hot and humid in the middle of the day it was very nice to be able to sit and watch tv or use the laptop with free wifi in airconditioning. The bed was amazingly large could sleep 4 if nesecary and very comfortable only thought was might have been a touch short for a 2m tall person but i am not so was good. the pool was a nice size and quite deep which was great for adult swimming. The water was luke warm but that was due to the extreme heat and humidity that we experienced and nothing the hotel could do to rectify that. Was a welcome releif from the hot atmosphere though.

Our first time in Bali and we stayed in Sanur for two nights before going to Ubud. The hotel is a bit old, but that is definitely part of the charm. It is well built and very well maintained so instead of feeling old, it has a wonderful vintage feel with nice big wooden doors and antique furniture. I wanted to sit on the balcony all day looking at the pool and its nice landscaping while smoking cigars and drinking Bintang. The location is a strength and weakness. It is not on the beach (but very close) so you have to walk. The long driveway adds to the esthetics and is necessary to get away from the main street. Once on the street, you are on the main stretch of shops and restaurants. Nice for convenience, but you're dealing with hawkers as soon as you step off the grounds. If you're going to Sanur, don't care about not being beachfront, like the shopping and restaurants, and want a hotel with quality far exceeding cost, Tamukami is the spot

En oas mitt i samhället
Vilken oas detta ställe är! Med gå avstånd till allt men ändå så skyddat och tyst från verkligheten runt dig. Trevlig välkomnande personal. Rent och fint överallt både inne och ute. Rymlig fina rum med bra comfort allt från säng till AC. Ala carte frukosten var väldigt bra!

Es war alles sehr sauber. Das Personal freundlich. Das Zimmer mit winziger Terasse war in einer stickigen Ecke. Wuerde dieses Zimmer nicht mehr nehmen. Der pool war schoen zum schwimmen und ueber 30 Grad warm. Zum Strand waren es 10 min. Fussweg und bei Flut konnte man gut schwimmen.

Dold pärla!!
Dold pärla. Ligger 50-100 meter från huvudgatan in via en smal gata. 5 min gångväg till stranden. Mycket tyst och lugnt. Fantastisk trädgård ramar in restaurang och pool. God mat i restaurangen. Jättemysigt hotell! Litet, fint inrett , jättetrevlig personal, sköna sängar. God mat i restaurangen. Tyst och lugnt på kvällar och nätter. En egen liten oas! Det enda vi saknade var bättre sänglampor när man vill läsa, annars var allt perfekt😊åker gärna tillbaka.Vi bodde där två veckor oktober 2019.

직원들이 친절하고 주변이 매우 조용하였습니다. 가게들이 많은 곳들은 걸어서 20분정도 거리였고 걸어다닐만했습니다.

Das Hotel ist klein und ruhig, wie wir uns gewünscht haben. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Sehr sauber. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Gute Schlafqualität. Getränke- und Essenauswahl inclusive Frühstück sehr gut. Der Balkon war auch sehr schön und nicht mit den üblichen weissen Plastikmöbeln sondern mit Holzgarnituren ausgestattet, wie auch die Sonnenliegen aus Holz waren. Wunderschön bepflanzter und gepflegter Garten rund um den Pool. Dieser wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und mit Frischwasser versorgt. Für uns ein rundum gelungener Urlaubsaufenthalt im Tamukami.

hôtel très correct
Hôtel très propre et confortable, ambiance rétro, belle piscine. Petit-déjeuner bon et copieux. Proche de la rue très animée où se trouvent les restaurants.
