Beautiful funky, boutique hotel
Staff are exceptional. Lovely pool, excellent breakfast and large rooms (seperate bedroom, lounge area, bathroom with rainfall shower head and smoking area at rear of apartment if needed. Very quiet street with lots of greenery surrounding the premises. About 1km from the beach, but well worth the stay.

Emma and staff were fabulous and deserve to be highly praised for their efforts in making our stay a very pleasant and memorable experience. The attention to detail like the hand picked flowers in the room, the pool and garden illuminated at night and interior art and boutique are unique touches that add to the charm of this relaxing hotel. The breakfast was very good and all requests were dealt with professionally and promptly. The location is very convenient as well overall I definitely recommend Kamar Kamar Boutique Hotel.

Don’t have enough good things to say about this hotel. The service was impeccable, rooms are clean, staff is very polite. They were accommodating to all our needs. Don’t walk, RUN to the boutique hotel. We can’t wait to come back to this relaxing, home away from home. Thank you Kamar Kamar!

Firstly I would like to say that the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The facilities however, are very basic, there is no bar or restaurant, and it does look slightly dated, (having said that, there were a few pieces of furniture around that were really lovely). The breakfast appears to be cooked off site and brought in, hence 5 out of 7 cooked breakfasts were cold! The shower head in our room looked as if it hadn't been cleaned or descaled in a while as it was covered in green stuff and the water from the shower sprayed all over the bathroom floor, making the glossy tiles rather slippery, so be careful! There are only 6 sun beds for a potential 20 guests, which is a shame as sometimes it meant no relaxing by the pool. We spent the best part of night without electricity, which also happened to be our 30th wedding anniversary, so not one we will forget, (the hotel did offer apologies and a free massage as compensation, so not all bad). It is advertised as a boutique hotel and I should imagine this business model really worked a number of years ago, but is now missing the mark in several areas.

Beautiful ,quaint boutique hotel !
Just stayed 1 night after 10 hours of travelling . Location was perfect for us as there was a spa 2 door down on 1 side and a great cafe on the other side . Service was impeccable!! Only comment is that the bathroom had a slight sewer smell ( common in Asia but I’m sensitive to smells )

Location is terrible. Avoid local taxi mafia
Not a bad hotel. Not great either. The A/C is very weak and you can't leave it on when you leave so the room is unbearable for the first 30 minutes whenever you get back. Also the area is terrible b/c there's a transportation mafia that overcharges you and doesn't allow grab pickups. Definitely would NOT stay here again.

Lovely boutique hotel- Recommended
Lovely place. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel like one of the family. Great little boutique hotel with a lively pool and spacious rooms. Can't praise the staff enough, and the bed was the most comfortable I have stayed in during my 6 months travelling.

Pretty and good value
Not the most convenient location but the rooms are large and the pool Is pretty. It is quiet and safe. Breakfast was not the best S they don’t have their own restaurant.

Spacious cheap stay.
Rooms clean spacious. Only problem is lounge area in room has no aircon and we arrived late in the night and bedroom aircon was off so place was boiling hot. Bathroom quite smelly but not uncommon for Bali. OK breakfast included, lovely setting and fresh fruit that was actually ripe. Nice pool area and small turtles allowed for a morning swim was a novelty. Staff were delightful and friendly and could not do enough. Highly recommended but need more aircon. 4/5 ××

It is a good and quiet place away from the noise. The owner's furry pets are fun to be with. Staffs have been very pleasant, polite and accommodating to your needs. You can walk to have your massage, food, laundry and mini mart. Great location and highly recommended.

Very quiet location, extremely helpful staff, spacious rooms, small number of rooms so quite private, good pool. Within walking distance ( around 10 min) of shops, restaurants, bars and deli. I seldom leave review, but I have to say, the staffs are very friendly and gentle. I am guessing hotel management has a high standard of service. Very impressive. The location is not the best, but it's good to stay out of the noisiest place. And I love that they have pets, birds and a tortoise, which make the atmosphere very lively. I am happy with the experience.

The hotel room was very well appointed with a separate bedroom and living/kitchenette area. The living area was not air-conditioned with only a fan and the bedroom had no fan but did have an air-conditioner (which struggled to cool the room). We arrived in the very early hours of the morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful but the breakfast was disappointing. The first day we took a walk to the beach which took us over 40 minutes (one way). The hotel is not located near to restaurants or shops and the area is not well lit at night so safety was also a concern. My wife has recently had a knee replacement and would not have coped with that sort of return walk every day to shop, eat and go to the beach. All these factors combined resulted in us finding different accommodation on our first day and moving hotels.

Great place to stay!!
We loved our stay in Seminyak. The hotel is stunning, rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was delish (they had Indonesian and western). Our only gripe is it’s far from everything (we paid 235,000 for a cab to town) and there are no restaurants really close by unless you want to walk in the dark. The breakfast spot upstairs was lovely, they could be doing something with it at night like a happy hour. All in all we would stay again if ever back in Bali.

We extended our stay as we liked it so much
We loved it so much that we booked again to relax for longer! You can’t do anything wrong when you book your stay here. It’s a beautiful little gem, a little away from the shops and restaurants of the main Seminyak area but therefore quiet and relaxing. The staff is very helpful with arranging a taxi for you. You won’t miss anything!

Nice hotel, good location
We really enjoyed our stay at Kamar Kamar. To be honest I expected more because the pictures make it look absolutely fantastic (and maybe slightly bigger than it actually is). The lobby is beautifully decorated and the pool is awesome , but our room was quite run down... the walls have poor finishing, tiles have stains, shower and cabinets look very old, so overall the hotel could use a renovation. That being said, the bed is super comfy, the A/C worked perfectly and breakfast was delicious, served in a very charming balcony. The staff was perfectly lovely and thoughtful and made us feel very welcome. Going to the trendy spots at Seminyak from the hotel is quite easy and quick, so overall I’m glad we chose this place.

Lovely hotel - shame it wasn't close to the centre
Lovely hotel - helpful staff and very large clean room with poolside view. However - quite far from centre of Seminyak (had to walk for around 35 minutes to get to the beach) and had to walk along some busy main roads to get there. Good if you want something a bit more out of the way as lots of taxis available to run you into the town or the beach, but not if you want to nip in and out throughout the day.

Beautiful hotel very quiet in a Great area.
From the moment we arrived there was nothing that was to much trouble. This hotel offers so much! The pool and atmosphere is just gorgeous. From there birds to there turtles and there fish pond this place is just paradise. The food was always lovely and fresh served on a Balcony overlooking a field. We will def return. The rooms are all junior suites beds made everyday and changed on your request. As well as a turndown service every evening!!! 5 mins from Seminyak!!!

I must agree with some other reviews where they called it a home away from home. The staff are amazing and very helpful. They look after you very well. The decor or the hotel is very nice and the two friendly dogs at the property are adorable. We stayed there 9 days and loved the property. Nice pool as well. They even arranged pickup from airport on a very good price. A scooter was also arranged for us. My only constructive criticism is in regards to complimentary tea/coffee. It would be nice to have milk provided for tea/coffee or even creamer. Breakfast is very simple but does the job.

What a gem!! The staff are incredible, couldn't do enough for you, the two little dogs were adorable and the room was just perfect. Definitely my base for Bali from now on. We rented bikes which made it very accessible to lots of great places but not sure how close it is to the action if you need to get taxis

These guys are super good at small things. Dont expect red carpet fine dining - its a tiny boutique hotel just minutes away from seminyak- but they make things so easy for you - just ask. I loved this amazing small place. The hotel manager was outstanding in service and accomodated my needs with such ease. You will find not all hotels are flexible or willing to do what they can

We booked this hotel with hotels.com. We had to pay surcharge because we bring our child along. Once checked in there was no facility of extra bed and breakfast for my child. If there is no facility why the surcharge in this hotel. I do not recommend this hotel beside akward start we had other problems aswel, the aircon didnot work properly even we complaint to the staff they seem not to care about their guests. The hotel needs to be updated and is lacking of good maintenance.

Roomy hotel with excellent staff and cutest dogs!
Had a great time here. Very spacious rooms, very quiet, staff will do anything you need. The dogs (toy poodle and pomeranian) there were the highlight! Made it feel like a home away from home. Will be back!

Home away from home!
It is more than I expected! Stayed for 6 nights. Beautiful and stylish boutique hotel! The room is really spacious ,clean ,comfortable and love that small balcony but yet comfortable enough for me to enjoy my morning coffee. Breakfast was delicious and catered to your need by super attentive staff and manager. Overall, I truly enjoyed the stay and will definitely come back again for future stay. Oh...there are these 2 adorable puppies that would greet you happily...I miss them already ..Kelly and Casey! They made my stay more memorable indeed!

Home away from home!
Karma Karma had the nicest staff. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels ranging from budget to very expensive 5* resorts and have never written a review but would gladly write one for this place. We felt so comfortable and at home here. The staff treated us like family. I was sick during part of our stay there and they gave me medicine and did what ever they could to assist. What a wonderful stay. Thank you!
