The room was out of date and very average (get what you pay for though.) The people living above seem to enjoy rearranging furniture every day and night. The closest pool is only filled about a quater full which isnt nice. Breakfast is very limited and multiple days we had to order as there was no buffet. They dont do vegan options either. However the staff are hard working and very polite and helpful. Budi from the tour desk is amazing super helpful and will take you anywhere you want to go.

Okej om du typ ska festa. ACn funka i 1 av 4 rum. Dem andra fläktade bara. Smutsigt var det och kryp fanns det gott om. Vi snackar smutsigt med hår osv. Samt fläckar på allt, dem har skrivit att man ska betala 500.000 idr om man gör några fläckar då förväntar jag mig fräscha handdukar och lakan. Poolen är okej, finns 4 solstolar vid varje pool ingen som använder dem knappt iallafall. Frukosten är ett skämt. Kunde knappt engelska vid incheckning frukosten sa han 50.000 idr per person för alla även spädbarn??? Internet kan ni glömma det finns inte. Då bodde vi ändå på bottenplan nära lobby. Men bra tv utbud av kanaler.

Very uncomfortable bed rooms very old and dirty the restaurant was very accommodating to westerners but the staff tried and were very friendly.

The hotel is a little dated but best value for money in Bali. The amenities are great. 3 pools. The rooms are fantastic. I take my two children and we have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. These types of rooms are hard to find. Rooms serviced daily. The staff are very friendly.

The 3 pools are awesome. The overall hotel is very clean with friendly staff however the rooms are outdated and could do with renovations.

I would stay here again
Staff are very friendly. Breakfasts are impressive. Tile floor of the pool is “emerald green”. This gives water in the pool a green appearance which is not appealing to me.

I'm their regular customer, really love this hotel & pool esp 2 bdr apartment, only sometimes their reckless staff were annoying although they were friendly, asked for sugar and didn't come for the next hours, banged the wall next to my bedroom at 7am, etc, wifi had also been useless.

Excellent value-for-money, but needs maintenance
Really excellent value-for-money for a three bedroom suite that opened straight out to large pool. Hotel was quiet and we had exclusive use of the pool most of the time, which was excellent for both parents and kids. Not on beach, but shortish walk or really cheap taxi ride to get there. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside was room seemed a bit run-down (eg, shower head fell off and needed replacing -- though this was fixed immediately when reported; loose door handles; air conditioners an older style and quite loud by modern standards). Hot water seemed to run out on a regular basis in the morning. Room was always kept very clean though. Breakfast included was OK (for the price), though will be repetitive if you don't want to start the day with asian cuisine (not a problem for me!). Hotel organised transfer to airport on departure and this was cheaper and better than the alternative we'd pre-booked (on Expedia) for arrival. Still more expensive than a taxi, but highly recommended if you have lots of luggage.

Affordable, comfortable and exceptional service
A very relaxing and affordable hotel for a family. The service was top rate. Very attentive and friendly. The hotel facilities are being updated but to get a true 3 bedroom unit with direct pool access from your room for the price we paid was awesome. Air conditioners in each room also added to the comfort level. Two TV's with many Fox channels was an added bonus. The breakfast was good but a bit more oriented to the Asian market. The only issue was location - if you want shopping and nightlife at your doorstop. Jalan Legian is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the hotel - ok for us but if you had small children a little bit of effort. Overall I would recommend.

Good hotel to stay at. Not good that it states that there is a kids club on site. As there is none and no kids activities available. Went there with 3 kids because there was a kids club. Not really impressed. Will not make this mistake again.

The staff at Grand Kuta were the most friendliest people, they went above and beyond - it was sad to leave! A little bit away from the main areas but overall the staff made the stay enjoyable!

Peace and tranquility
Staff were very friendly and very helpful. 3 Well maintained pools spacious rooms with balcony. Close to beach a taxi might cost you $2.50 Use Bluebird only. Buffet includes eggs and there style of bacon done to order. We will stay there again next year. We have visited Bali on 3 previous occasions so we know what to expect

Dangerous pool!
This is the worst hotel I've stayed in on my many trips to Bali. First of all I was shown to a room with a charmless view of an overgrown patch of land. I asked to be moved towards the pool on the ground floor. This was okay but the pool is very dangerous. There are no steps going into the pool and it is 1.2 meters throughout. It is very, very difficult to get into and out of with ladders that are hazardous. I had a very bad slip down the ladder injuring my leg severely. This was a business trip for me and I just wanted to relax with a quick swim at the end of the day- after the fall, I didn't bother with the pool. The night manager was really great in allowing me to stay late on my check out day due to the incident and the fact I'd had to put up with very loud Chinese people in the pool at 630 am. They greedily ate the breakfast buffet and really had no manners. They made me feel sick watching the way they ate. WiFi was extremely bad. The lady that did reflexology on my feet at the spa was great but the spa is hotter than outside! All walls are made of glass with one tiny air conditioner. If you want to use a sauna, go there!

Great Hotel!
Check-in was quick and easy. Staff were always kind and helpful. There's a nice restaurant on-site with good food & drink at low prices. There's not a lot to do in the immediate neighborhood, but getting around Kuta is inexpensive and easy. I will definitely stay here again.

Great Stay
This hotel is great value for money. The rooms are large and very clean, the hotel staff are extremely helpful and polite. There are three pools and although lovely they only get sun in the morning, which is nice to cool off in the afternoon. The food from the restaurant was delicious. The only disappointment was when we went to leave for the airport they told us they were unable to call a taxi for us, because they wanted us to use their service (which is much more expensive than a taxi charges). It is about 5minutes drive to all the main attractions and areas.
