Each bedroom has their own bathroom 2 Golf Carts Discover the peaceful serenity of Bald Head Island tucked within gorgeous live oaks and over looking Hole #3 on the golf course. Our home consists of four bedrooms each having their own full bath. Three of the bedrooms all have queen size beds and the fourth bedroom consists of two twins each having a trundle. Our home boasts an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining and living area all on one level. The kitchen is the chefs dream. We are fully stocked and well equipped! We have a spacious screen porch and a large expansive deck along the maritime forest. We are located on a half an acre, which is not common on Bald Head Island. We are very private although just around the corner from the beach, the harbor and the maritime shops. We have plenty of beach gear, 2 golf carts and wifi. The house was clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable which is a plus. My daughter mentioned that at least one king bed would be nice to have in this house as these are queens and twins. We had such a wonderful weekend here. The house is perfectly located and so beautiful. You felt like you’re the only ones on the island when you’re sitting on that back porch! So tranquil. I do want to just warn people staying with toddlers. The doors have button locks that our almost 2-year-old could press very easily. He locked himself inside the room a couple times and there are no keys so we had to pick the lock. Just be cautious if you’re planning to stay with kids! Our group consisted of 2 families with 2 young children each (4 adults, 4 children total). The house was very comfortable for us all. The kids loved the 2 big rooms upstairs with their own bathrooms while the adults didn't have to be worried about being too loud after the kids went to bed. We truly had no complaints about the house. It is a super private setting so it feels very peaceful, but you're just down the road from everything. There were plenty of games for the kids to play for when we weren't at the beach, and it was very nice to have plenty of beach gear for us to use while we were there: chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, skim boards, etc... I think each adult in our group at some point mentioned how nice the setup was. Brandy was great to work with and very helpful after a scheduling error forced us from our first rental.
