"We loved the tranquility of Cavendish. The view from rooms 1&2 were breathtakingly beautiful . The green rolling hillsides with buttercups were lovely and relaxing.
The staff was incredibly engaged and helpful.
Adele at the front desk was amazing as was Tony who was very helpful. Stuart Bond as our server was upbeat , friendly and accommodating to our needs. The food was delicious. We look forward to returning . "
"Great stay, small but comfortable room. Great shower and had a fridge. We especially liked the amazing views and friendly staff. Would love to stay again next time visiting peak district."
"A lovely old Hotel with quirky decor, centrally situated in the town and convenient for shops and dining.
Only slight downside was the limited parking which left you unsure of a space if you arrive late in the afternoon or evening. "

"Really nice hotel, in stunning location. Bit off the beaten track so my satnav going home did decide through the middle of the peak district was the best option....

"Wonderful hotel. Great customer service. Highly recommend dinner in the restaurant. Food was delicious and of good quality. Litttle tip if you stay in Room 402 which is in the court yard opposite the hotel, bring some ear plugs for the road noise. "
