This is a very comfortable place to crash the night and better than a hotel. We watched movies at the living room and the house it’s well equipped with a a/c unit since outside was supper hot. Bakersfield was a midway point for our trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas so we were looking for a place to rest and spend the night. We didn’t see any of the city accept for a Walmart where I picked up an order. It was conveniently located. About half way to Bakersfield I realized I booked the wrong date but the host was gracious in letting us stay after working with VRBO on our behalf. The home was clean and smelt great and the property was just as listed. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for watching tv after dinner. The kitchen is nice and big and well stocked (could use some cooking utensils). There was coffee with all the fixings and that was super nice to have. Coffee pot was nice and easy to work. FYI…This has absolutely nothing to do with the house but there are lots of dogs in the neighborhood and they bark all the time.
